well i paid w/paypal master card and my balance was like 9 bucks when these two companies tried to charge my account and were declined (35+ dollars)... what i'm asking is... technically... can we do that w/all the products? say... get the product that you have to return and NOT return it... the company can't do anything about it coz it's paypal and it blocks the charges due to low balance... right??!?

Hasek.

P.S. this is 400th thread in this (HELP) section... YAY!

please dont do that, advertisers will get VERY discouraged if we fraud them in such a way. Theres a difference between cancelling your offer and straight up frauding the company with a fake CC. This kind of stuff will be the downfall of incentive based sites.

oh no... it wasn't like i did that intentionally... they weren't even supposed to charge me, yet they did after like 10bus days after i placed my order (30day trial)... i'm just asking if companies have some kind of way around that, like trying to chrage again sometime later or something...

btw... PP master card isn't a fake CC, why do you say that?

They won't do anything, but stuff like this discourages free site activity. What they will do is they will keep charging your account, its automated.

They may revoke your green.

Haha, no they won't dude. The offer completion was given for doing the trial, you wouldn't have been given any credit if your card was initially denied

They could hunt you down and send you letters for the money. I guess i dont know.

They would most likely turn you over to a collection agency, which will quickly begin nailing your credit in the proverbial pooper.

LoL they won't... i sent back the product peepz, nothing to worry about here... i was just asking theoretically what they'd have to do IF i were to keep it.

Nope )
Paypal does not collect your social security number (unless you intend to enter a money market fund) so they have no claim to credit agencies )

Collection Agencies don't need your SSN, it only makes their job easier.
