How can I get a free Ipod? huh? everywhere I've gone, there's been a chatch. To sign up for some free trial then cancel before they start billing you. or to fill out surveys which turn into offers you have to say yes to or they wont send it.
I heard they're giving them away at princeton. and other universities. why can't we all just have a ipod, do you realize how much quieter the world would be? aaaaaah!! o silence is golden

so help me...how can I get a free Ipod? huh?
oh, and spare me the marketing pitches, please. I'm no spring chicken

Yeah, I don't see why companies don't just hand them out for free on the street corner. I can't believe they want to somehow get paid for them. What nerve!

i see your sarcasm and it's thick. thank you for your imput. however. that just goes to show how much of greedy mongerers these execs are.
Ipods cost money I know, but so does tuition, taxes, and gasoline for that matter. I say they pay for themselves, just by living in the U.S.

Yup, tuition, taxes, and gasoline all cost money. They cost Apple employees money just as much as it costs you and I money. It costs employees of iPod vendors money also.

But working brings in money. If you don't want to jump through a few hoops to get an iPod at no monetary cost to you, then you should buy one.

ah...well said.. so what "hoops" do I need to jump through to get a free IPod?

1. Sign up for a free Ipod site.

2. Complete an offer.

3. Referr some friends to do the same!

4. They'll ship out your FREE iPod!

You need to complete an offer on your account, then get 5 people to sign up using your referral link and do an offer.

Honestly, FreeiPods is really hard to finish these days. So many people are already signed up. You are better off working on one of the newer sites.

which are??

and also...I have to sign up for like a free credit card, or something else? wtv happened to a free trial of aol or something else..something that doesn't cost me immediate money...

There are other offers have cost a dollar. The Wal-Mart card. Rhapsody trial. Everything else is pretty cheap. You can afford to spend a couple of dollars compared to spending what you really would for a brand new iPOD.

and do the five people I refer to...do they have to submit to an offer like free credit cards, or one dollar for wal mart or something else?
man, these schemes are hard..

They're not hard. If they were hard, the users on this forum wouldn't have finished a lot of the sites they have. A lot of users here have earned free gifts. I recently finished a free laptop site (see signature) and it will be delivered next week on Wednesday. Your friends have to sign up using your UNIQUE referral code which you'll find under "REFERR FRIENDS" page. When they click it, they sign up, complete a simple offer and wait to be credited. Once you get 5 friends to do this and get credited, you'll be able to submitt your account for review. When it's approved, you can place your order and it will arrive at your house in a couple of weeks.

Yes. Your friends sign up for an offer like you did as well. Like I said, all the offers are very cheap.

would you rather pay maybe $10 to do a blockbuster offer for example, and get 5 of your friends to do the same, then ship you an ipod for free?

or would you rather that you went to a store and paid $300 for an ipod?

your call.

wow, I cant believe someone is actually complaining about this. go buy it at the store lazybones.

If it seems too difficult, then you can just buy one. It is obvious that 'free ipods' aren't for everyone. If you can participate on it and get an iPod for free, super. If not, then too bad. If you want a 100% free iPod, go enter a contest. But you can't complain if you don't win.

There are plenty ipod guide sites that explain all of this. Basically it all comes down to a very cheap ipod. If you play your cards right, no you don't pay but just be smart with it, do your research and don't be a newb.
