[CDN] Sneaky follow-up offer to $25 Canadian Tire card?

Hi all,

I just signed up to freeipods.com and am looking forward to getting my iPod soon. I have one question though that hopefully someone can help me with. When I was signing up for the Galleria offer ($1 one month trial + $25 Canadian Tire gift card) I think I clicked too fast and accepted another offer that was on the last page. Does anyone know what I may have accidently signed up for on that last page? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check your credit card statement... Sometimes when I signed up to things they will show other offers such as greatfun but you have to input information rather than just clicking to get signed up.

I did check, and it only showed the $1 for the Galleria offer. The other offer may have been a free offer...that's what I'm afraid of because I would never know until they charge me $98745897398457 next month

Yes you would. All the offers put a $1 hold on your credit card so if it did sign you up you'd see that $1 on it besides the initial offer you signed up for.

I was wondering if you had recieved the $25 dollar gift certificate yet
because its been 2 weeks and i havent gotten mine yet... although i did get credited

also, i remember the last page of the process was another sign up for a Sears card and/or gift certificate

oh yes, I think I remember now, it was something about Sears...oh well, I guess I'll need to keep a closer eye on my credit card charges...anyways I noticed you have 4 green and 40 yellow? wow...you'd think atleast one person out of those 40 would think its worth it to try it out...

it gives you this card which you have to filled out and send it back to them... ?

also, along with the plastic paper card they send you, you also get about 5 more piece of adveritsement papers

That means that you will have to pay for another month of Galleria.

Btw. How did you check your credit report so fast?

I checked online and the transaction was there. I can cancel my offer once I am verified and they won't revoke the verificaiton right? Is there a set amount of time I have to be on the trial offer?

ya, on the card it says it will take about another 4-6 weeks to recieve the survey you need to fill out and to send it back to them, then they will send you the $25 Canadian G/C......

did you guys recieve credit yet? its been 3 days and i believe i had my cookies partially blocked, on medium setting

I've never had any problems with offers, and my Privacy setting is Medium.

i changed mine to accept all cookies before i did the offer just in case, and also used IE6

I just finish completing the card and mail it back to them to recieve the survey to get my $25 ....

I received credit for the offer like 2 days after I signed up...I'm waiting on the package to decide if I'm going to waste my time for the gift card...
