Getting referrals by pimping friends?

Not in the literal sense ;)

I was wondering if the following is actually okay, considering I've seen a few trade posts along these lines

Is it okay to trade a referral of a friend or relative of yours for a referral YOU need, if you explained to that friend what they were doing and they agreed? Is that okay on FIPG? Is it against Gratis's TOS specifically?

you can trade for whatever you want, as long as you give and recieve legit greens.
