Is the Columbia House Dvd offer, a good offer? I looked for it on Ratetheoffers.com, but no luck.
Has anyone done that offer?

it is good if you want to be a member of the club. You get the initial DVDs for cheap but then you have to buy 4 or 5 at regular price in the next year which is always about $25. If you don't ever buy or want to buy DVDs then it's a bad offer

Do i need to buy some Dvds, before I get credited?

no you just sign up
the way it works
1. You choose 5 DVDs that you want and pay $0.49 + $1.99 S&H
This will be the original charge to your credit card, and you will get credit at this point.
2. Over the next year you buy at least 5 DVDs at $19.95 or more.
3. If for some reason you do not buy the 5 DVDs over the year you probably get a fine or just get the amount charged to your credit card.
So the final price will be a little over $100, but you get 10 DVDs out of it so it isn't too bad.

Is it hard to cancel and do they have a good selection?

You can't cancel. Once you sign up you're under contract to buy 5 within a year. If you don't they send your account to collections.

I did the offer, it's not that bad. It's not a cheap one but if you're into DVD's and you have the money it's ok.
