I have seen many posts from people who say they are "noobs", yet they are asking questions that are REALLY above me still. lol

My question is [b09abc5ec69]what exactly is a referral[/b09abc5ec69]? I have gotten the sense that it is, lets say, 1 out of the 5 trials a friend has completed? And 5 referrals is the five needed friends's trial completions? I will most likely have more questions in the future, but in the meantime, I am testing the pool with my toes to see if I should dive in. I have just stumbled upon this site today, and find it absolutely amazing. Thank you for your time.

you stupid n00b!! hahah just kidding ;)

A referral is someone that is signed up under you for a particular site, they followed your referral link and signed up under it.

Ty for the reply, that is what I kinda thought. Now when you send a referral request to someone you emailed to, I send them that bit of code within the e-mail right? Now when they click on that link I gave them, how do they go through this process, and when they [i2c6c8924f9]do[/i2c6c8924f9] do a trial, how does it know to go under my account?

Yes

After the person that signed up under you as a referral does a trial, they are usually credited in a few days. When they are credited for doing an offer it will show up under your status page.

try to make sure that both you AND your referrals use Internet Explorer do sign up for sites (freeipod, freepsps etc) and also use it to complete offers on.

1) Ty, I almost forgot about that IE thing. lol Now I hear people talking about running out of offers and now do trades. What are these trades? I hear of money, trading and PayPal. Can someone please organize my thoughts? lol I am eagerly waiting a response and ready to record it on paper. wink

2) And is it OK for me to use the same friends for each FREE website, so long as they do different trials each time? They are interested in multiple trials, especially my granny, lol.

Trading and paypal are ways to get referrals. You can trade referrals for different free sites (IE ref for ref) or you can trade via paypal. Paypal is a cash exchange system online.

Yes, it is ok for you to use the same friends )

Thanks alot dude, I will hopefully be on tonight on AIM to get a few more Qs out of the way before I start doing this free stuff. I believe I have good flexability as of now due to the fact I haven't signed up for any of the FREE sites yet, so all offers are unused. D

So basically, all these people initiating trade and payments don't have family members or relatives to do it with?

I createda list of 11 relatives that are willing to do this. D

That would be correct. Freedesktoppc is a great site to get started on, if you want to sign up under someone ;)

))

Did you check out the FAQ?

The first thing I did were to read any FAQs, before I blundered into asking questions. ) So your saying I should do maybe do the Desktop PCs first, then iPods? Hmmm, there is a difficult decision indeed. 8) ...no really, this is hard... lol Thank you for the help fellas. wink

for most people, starting with a smaller site (with fewer referrals) is a good idea. you dont get too in over your head and especially for people who are skeptical and they dont have family members to do the site, then they think thast if it IS a scam, then they wont lose too much.

if you have a lot of family and friends willing to do it, then id use them to go for the rarest sites (freeipods, freepsps, freephotoipods).

stick with Gratis sites for the moment, or do either FlashiPod4free or one of the 4NoCash sites.

let me know if you have any other questions and ill try and answer them.

That, my friend is completely up to you. Most do like to do smaller sites, but it just depends on what you want ) If you think you can get the refs, go for it! I myself am working on freedesktoppc currently, and have only 3/10 lol

Make sure these relatives don't live in the same household as you. That would get your accounts put on hold.

Uh-oh. Will I still get credit if I completed an offer using Opera (identifying as MSIE 6)?

ptrobably, i use firefox for most of my refs and haven't had any problems. What ever you use, make sure it is set to accept cookies.
