TVOUT Help!

I finally picked up my pc (cyberpower) from my aunts house yesterday, and I connected the cable to the puter and my tv. When xp is booting, I'm able to see it on my tv but when it finally loads I get a black screen on my tv. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Do I need to install a driver to get the tvout to work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check out the manufacturer of your video card's website for the latest drivers. Other than that, try booting the computer without the TVOUT hooked up, then hook it up after you've booted and logged on.

OMG i had the same problem w/ my svid out on my laptop like exact same problem can see it then it goes black.......... im stilll in need of help to

I tried that, still the same. ?

Try
- right-clicking on the desktop. (or go to the control panel and click display)
- click on Properties
- go to the settings tab
You should find information there on how to activate your tv out

if this does not work I will find out more when mine comes in.. about a week or more.

That sort of worked, i dragged these 2 squares around and I see a plain desktop on my tv. But thats about it.

A friend of mine, did that remote assistance on my pc and he fixed it. But now the problem is, when I play videos I get a black screen on my tv. Everything shows up fine, just not the video. Any ideas?
