You probably did something wrong. The napster offer is very straight forward. In the Napster App, there's a My Account Section that details the plan your on (whether monthly subscription or free trial) and when it Ends, etc.

I'm guessing you didn't go through the right steps to change your Napster Account Status. They may be helpful if you call Napster and explain what you want to change your account status to and what you thought would be the effective date for the change

I think that they check your account (to make sure that you have funds)

So do you guys suggest canceling right after you get credit, or as soon as you complete the offer?

When will people understand how this works? You don't sign up for offers just to cancel them when you go green. You sign up for offers that interest you. Some you pay, some you don't, some give you a free trial. No matter what service you pick, you try it. Then based on your needs, you will eventually discontinue a service, but that could be years, or hours, but usually at least you need a few days to decide.

so, you actually try the service! or don't sign up for it. If you get a green for your effort, good job, if not, try again.

I signed up for Napster, I liked it, so I used my free 4 month coupon and continued for now. But, I'll prob try Yahoo when my free 4months is up. I think these 4 month free coupons sell for like $2 on ebay too.
