my_delusion went red on FlashIpods

Not saying he's a scammer. Just saying that he did go red, so I wouldn't do any more Trainn trades with him unless this gets cleared up. Trainn didn't give a reason. I have been in contact with the trader, and he is going to try and clear things up with Trainn.

Just a heads up.

A. Did you PM this trader about the red?? Often people go red because of a simple mistake, or occasionally even a site error that is not their fault. These reds are often able to be reversed.

B. Did you PM a moderator about this?? They are able to contact the other trader if they do not reply to you, and can give you helpful advice.

Both of those steps should be done LONG before posting here and dragging someone's name through the mud for something that may not have even been their fault.

I'm not trying to drag anyone's name throught the mud. That's why I clearly said that I wasn't calling him a scammer. I just feel that it is my obligation to let everyone know that he went red, that way if someone else was getting ready to pay him on green for another Trainn site, then they know whats going on.

I have PM'd him. He replied a day or two later. He said he didn't know why it was red, and that he would look into it. Honestly I don't think he tried to scam anyone, but the chances of getting a red back to a green are slim to none, so unfortunately he's probably done on all trainn site regardless.

Actually, posting his name here in the "scammers and problem traders" IS dragging his name through the mud............

Actually, I have gone red twice, both times it was not my fault (once a misunderstanding and once an error on the part of the site), both reds were [bfe189551b0]reversed within an hour [/bfe189551b0]of it coming to my attention. I have had two referrals who went red and were able to get them [bfe189551b0]reversed[/bfe189551b0], one that day, one a few days later. I have had two others who went red for simple mistakes, and they made good on it, so I never felt the need to tell everyone else about it. We all make mistakes sometimes.

I never really thought about like that. I have no problem having this thread deleted, if its a problem. I have PMd the guy and I totaly think it was unintentional.

I've been scammed three times in the last 2 weeks, so maybe I was a little quick on the trigger finger with my little "public service announcement" )

IMO it doesn't hurt if he's not a scammer.

ahhhh, that explains it all, because my_delusion went red for me TOO on flashipods4free. I guess that is the problem then.

I dont' think it's a problem to post a user going red here.....just to give the heads up...and I certainly don't think it's a problem the way it was done here.....stating clearly that he didn't think the person was a scammer.....after all, isn't this where we post our vacation threads???
