Be very wary about tradeing with ILoveAsphalt.
He signed up at one of my sites. Went green immediately and I paid him.
Today I was PM'd from another member to check to see if he had gone RED.
Sure enough he had.
Just a couple of days after the trade.
Said he had violated Terms.
Just be careful.
Could have been inexperience but I'm wondering.

UPDATE March 31, 2007 430PM CDT
I just received word that he has done this to two more members.
He needs to be removed and band from the forum and everything else.

He did a Trainn site with me and I was going to pay him on green. He PM'd me this morning saying he went green and to pay him. I checked the site to see and he was already red, even before submitting for approval!! It said he violated the terms as well. I contacted the other people he had traded with and 2 of the 3 so far had said they already paid him and he went red on theirs. I am just happy I didn't pay him yet.

He needs to be banned!! It looks like he is on here just to scam people. I already contacted a mod. about this.

I'm new so maybe someone can help me understand how a person might go red. Is it simply canceling an offer immediately after going green? Is there a "rule of thumb" so to speak as to when a person can cancel an offer without going red?
Thanks,
Brian ?

That is one cause, others are multiple accounts, doing the same offer more than once, fake info, etc. And there isn't a set time limit for keeping an offer, but you should be interested in the offers you complete so you should keep them for a while.

ILOVEASPHALT - totally is a scammer _ when I asked for a refund as per our trade agreement - he stated through paypal -" non-tangible item"
that was his only reply. Just that shows he intended to scam us all!

O.K so this loser is now banned. How do we get a refund from him?

I don't think we will - but file a paypal dispute and escalate it- they will deny the refund request but they track all fraudulent transactions and maybe they will close his acct or something. He knew the system that paypal will not do anything for non-tangible items.

Do all the other sites know, so he can't go on other ones and do the same thing to people?

I filed a paypal dispute against him and actually won the dispute. Of course they could not get funds from his account. (probably closed it) At least I have a little peace of mind. This punk needs a good old fashioned beating to learn a little about being honest.
