harley_girl1970 (NOT harley_girl1963) very rude and went red

This user was incredibly rude, did .5 credit, ignored me when I contacted him/her about finishing the site. Then I log in to see this note for her account

Thats too bad...she went green for me about a month back...past approval and everything. I kept in contact for a couple of weeks trying to help her out with some things...everything went smooth then, and she was really nice.

Well, I don't know why it's so weird. I happen to have a Harley and I was born in 1963. That's why I have my name. I was here before the other one and I have had that handle on many different places on the internet. If you question it, you can check with site admins who know I am not that person.

I asked why and was told I had signed up under a different email and they told me the email. I told them I wasn't that person and to check the IP address. When they did that, they saw they were wrong. He ASSUMED it was the same person because we had the same password.

Could be the same issue here. What was the site in question?

Ahhh, you're so sweet. Yes the admin at that site said we had the same password to which I said it was ludicris that he would just assume we were the same person because by chance our password was the same. And I told him furthermore, if I was going to scam him I wouldn't use the same password. Needless to say my account was taken off hold.

I think if I were you I would fight for my $599!!!!! This seems to be a habit.

Dammit i knew it was him!!! i feel so ripped off by this lil kid!!!!! atleast he told you the accounts that had the same password, on my case he didnt say anything just blocked me off aim and banned me from the support section.i tried fighting it but it got me banned from Anything4Free.com since he has better reputation there all the trade cops and so on took his side and i lost and got banned

That's very very shady of COT to block you on AIM and ban you from the support system for that, you've got a 180+ TR on FiPG and A4F combined, you're not a newb who is going to accidentally sign up for 2 more accounts. Very shady, also terrible modding job over at A4F, changed the topic either to fun dip or reading rainbow instead of dealing with the issue at hand.

Yea thas why i got pissed they kept changing subjects around like it was a joke, they took his side since his a site owner and im just me lol so i got no proof but like i said before when people go on hold they say the other email that were found, on my account it just says multiple accounts, he doesn't even put the email that were found on my account, so its all just bs, he put me on hold because i finish his site to quick i even posted the conversation we had before i started working on his site and even he told me it was fine and then 2-3 days later im on hold

Yeah, is your password something very common? Like I know for a fact that out of a million people nobody would pick the same password as me, but some people have easy passwords, like they're favorite color, or something basic like that.

my password is simple but nothing someone could guess out of the blue or have i dunno i just wanted some justice before since i did earn him 17 greens that he made money of me while i got stuck paying people back, luckily i found the right sites and been banking money like crazy D

I would def change your name, i always search in the scammers section before i tread with a user and if i find anything I don't trade with them, So I probably wouldn't trade with you if I saw this. Even thought I know who you are.

Seems unfair that she should have to change her name, when she has put all the work into building her TR & stuff. Do you think the Mods could transfer all of that over, given her circumstances???

Also seems that they should not allow someone to create a username so similar to one that is already used................

I agree that I shouldn't have to change my name. If someone doesn't read and decides not to trade with me, it's their loss. I think the title of this should be changed so the name won't be confused!

First of all, admins can change a name without affecting TR, Karma, and postcount. The account remains the same, we just change the username.

That said, our policy here at FiPG is not to entertain requests for name changes, unless there is a compelling reason and all admins agree. And we've actually required a donation to the board in the past for borderline cases where we felt it really wasn't necessary but the member gave a convincing reason why they wanted to change. The donation serves to not only help fund the forums, but also to prevent folks just willy-nilly asking to change names.

I agree that Judy shouldn't have to change her name, and that folks SHOULD pay enough attention to notice the difference. However, people being as they are, it's bound to result in confusion, which isn't fair to Judy. I'm gong to monitor the situation, and if harley_girl1970 doesn't resolve her issues quickly, she'll be banned and then I'll change HER banned username so that Judy will remain the only harley_girl. However there's nothing we can really do about [i3f47ab7a35]posts[/i3f47ab7a35] that say things like "harley_girl1970 is a scammer!" because obviously that won't be changed if/when we change her name.

Thanks D, and for what it's worth, I investigated both the 1963 and 1970 versions of harley_girl, when 1970 joined FiPG and didn't find anything suspicious. Furthermore, I traded with 1963, and had a great trade.

I really had no intention of changing my name but I did want to make sure it was known that there are two people with similar names and I would ask folks not to jump to conclusions that we are the same.
