What icon?

First off you should read the rules on the forum. You'll find that all your questions can be answered by reading them. Theres a huge red box on the top of the page with plenty of instructions.

Secondly you were told "liMod Editli - NO REF LINKS IN POSTS!", which means dont put referral links in your posts. You can put in your post freebiesite.com,but not freebiesite.com/?r=183787246816372. Thats not allowed.

the big red box no longer appears for me, and maybe many other people too, and the site always says error at the bottom now too (sigh)

I see it. You may have to refresh. Also be aware of the current server load which is why there are timeouts, etc.

I havent seen it for like two days now, in both my FF and IE and the bottom in FF says Done while the bottom of IE says Error on Page with the little yellow triangle and exclamation point. In place of the red box is a white bar.

It clears everytime my browser is closed, and I do it daily to complete offers, etc.

Cookies too?

I still get the occasional timeouts we're all experiencing, but when I [if80b0a7961]can[/if80b0a7961] login, the box is there.

That said, I remember experiencing the white bar effect, just not for awhile.

Admin changed how the red box was displayed a week or two ago -- for search engine purposes he wanted the message moved out of the top of the content. I was busy at the time so he did it himself, and I have yet to look at it to see if there is some way I can improve it. I know he's using Javascript to populate the div with text after the page loads, which is why you briefly see a white bar (the collapsed div border before it is loaded with the text).

If you have browser scripting disabled or security level set way low, that might be why it doesn't appear for you. Works fine for me in IE6 and FF2.

It isn't an image so it wouldn't be in your cache.

Just like I said... oops ;)

I have NoScript which is a pretty common extension to FF, and I allow FIPG totally. Maybe some don't, and that's one of the reasons for this problem.
