This is EXACTLY what I predicted was going on. The guy was trying to finish the site quickly before he went red/didn't complete his trades. He's been banned on A4F for doing the same thing to someone else that he did to me. I may have handled it wrong, but I knew this kid was scamming, and I am SOOO glad I insisted on waiting for his "green" to pass approval before paying him for it. I only wish I hadn't refunded him for the green I gave him that I intentionally made go red when I figured out he was scamming me.

I agree with Commander, I don't think I'd count on him paying me back once he's cashed out from the site. However, I think if he's able to clear it up before that number goes from 5/6 to 6/6, then there would be no need to report his link. That should encourage cams to get it cleared up asap so he can still make profit, and it should help everyone not have to worry about a "cut and run" after he gets paid.

Well 10 minutes later it went through and it greened, all of a sudden he said he will pay him once he gets approved and he should get approved on Tuesday. We agreed even though it was unfair atleast half now and half later but he claimed of all the reds he was getting.

Either way today is wednesday and he said my ref went red and hes not gonna pay my friend. Then he said he was fine and then he changed his mind again. I kept telling him what was the e-mail that went red and hes just afk. He also said """I"""" did a ref for him and that went red too when this crack smoker doesn't know wtf he is a talking about. I did business with him earlier but it was just a trade for a site no paypal, will not do business in the future with him no matter what he is offering.

Im trying to get a hold of my friend to see if it was true he went red, i recommend he be deleted and somebody report his account to trainn.

Cams is telling me that his YFVI payout is how he claims he will pay you. If we report his link and block his payout, he won't pay, he will be banned, and nobody gets anything.

So we have 2 options

I'm in the approval process on 3604Free, with cams as one of my referrals. A couple months ago, he and I had a dispute, and the resolution was there was no way in hell I was going to pay him until he passed approval, and then, if he did, I would pay him $25. So, from my perspective, if he goes red on YFVI, then he'll go red for me, too. I think I have one extra ref, if nobody else goes red, so maybe it won't matter, but I'd prefer he stays green, obviously. But I don't expect it to either way, since he did stamps.com after a long time and a lot of pressure, so I think it was fraud.

Anyway, if he passes approval for me, I'll give the $25 to someone else that he owes money/ref to (I don't know a fair way to do this, so I'm open to ideas). If he goes red, of course, I'm not paying for the ref.

If he passes approval on YFVI and gets paid, and runs, well, I've still got his mom and step-dad's phone number, the names of many of his friends, his school, activities he's involved in, etc., so I can't see how he would think that's a good decision.

EDIT Looking through this thread, it's really not clear to me who all he even owes... Anyone who cams owes, please PM me, and I'll edit this post and add your name to the list.

Odd as it may seem, seeing as I was the first person who called him a scammer, I actually kinda believe he will pay everyone back. No. It is a case-by-case scenario. I have experienced both situations. One time, I had a referral turn red, I got another one a few hours later, but still had to wait through entire approval. On DVDRecorders, I had another red, replaced him, and didn't even have to submit.

I'll be in touch with Trainn to find out if you're telling the truth. Although it doesn't really matter, because you deserve a ban anyway. But if you're a man you'll step up and pay what you owe regardless of whether you get banned. Because that's what an honest man does. The only reason I'm not banning you this instant is because I expect for you to realize your obligation and pay what you owe, regardless of what you have to do to get the money. Once I hear back from Trainn about your disposition on YFVI, I'll post back here. If you haven't made right by then, you're gone. And you'll still be reported to every freebie site we can think of, not to mention the PayPal disputes people will be filing against you.

I'm going to ask the rest of you to hang tight and not abuse them. It's likely not his parents' fault, and if they get spammed or ragged on they'll be less likely to help and might even complain of harassment. Perhaps they will listen to reason and do what needs to be done, so please let me take care of this.
