He has been telling people he can do sites and then he asks for the money upfront and he never does anything, i lost 9 bucks to him, he said he was "getting a new card so he can do video proffesor"! Well reply to this post if he has scammed u! AND IF A MOD OR SOMEONE COULD GET MY MONEY BACK AND BAN HIM then that would be great!

All that I know is that he greened for me on trainn wii. I have yet to go through approval but I dont think that i will be experiencing any problems.

I dont think that we should jump on him just yet, until he has gone red on someones sites.

cams, your PM wasn't specific as to who you were talking about. Now that I've figured that out, I'll reply here.

PureHolocaust is currently on a temp ban that is scheduled to expire on 9/19. If he comes back, he will be subject to the same requirements as any other trader -- he will either make good on his trades or he will be perma-banned. If he is in fact frauding offers, he will be perma-banned. If he continues flaunting the rules of the place in the way posts, whether he is scamming or not, he will be perma-banned. If he is banned for scamming or offer fraud, he will also be reported to all freebie sites that cooperate with us in placing scammers on hold.

That's no different than we treat any other problem traders. Give him a chance to come back, explain himself for whatever that's worth and if he so chooses, then let the mods & admins take it from there.

As do most scammers when they get banned. We typically won't ban until we see the cause is lost anyway, so it's a moot point by then. We will not however allow somebody to hold us "hostage" by threatening to walk away from trades that they aren't following through with as it is. Either they comply withing a reasonable time, or they get banned. It sucks for their trades, but by then it should be clear that they weren't a legitimate trader to begin with. That's the risk of trading. I've been scammed here too, ya know... twice.

Wouldn't you like to know. ) Seriously, we don't divulge who cooperates with us for several reasons, not the least of which is you don't let your "enemies" know what cards you hold -- it would be too easy for a potential scammer to try to trade around those sites if they knew which ones we had influence with. Let's just say, between all of us admins/mods, we have direct or indirect contacts throughout most of the established freebie scene, and all legitimate freebie sites are constantly on the lookout for scammers, especially those that commit offer fraud.

Not even pending and he was telling me ot relax and now it has been like 4 days since I have heard rom him. I think I am terminating the trade and paying someone else.

One of you or a mod please PM me your info so I can send a Western Union wire for $240 to someone..that should make up for the damage I caused but, make sure you split it evenly between the among I traded with. I will check these forums in a few days for the wire information and never show my face again.
