The tdcemail.com domain is owned by a business right down the road from me (TranDotCom), so that contact person would likely have nothing to do with your red. However it looks like small company so you might be able to e-mail that person and politely ask for info on who user choffman is. However unless it was due to a trade that you paid for, there isn't anything you can do about it -- folks are free to go red anytime they like as long as someone didn't pay for their ref. )

This part confuses me...if I didn't pay him then it must have been a trade and I would be able to go red on his site aswell.

I IMed a couple people and sent a PM to one of them asking if they were the red user...we shall see.

I pretty much only pay people I am fairly sure it wasn't a trade.

By "trade" I mean a tit-for-tat arranged through here or elsewhere, whether for payment or for a green in return. As opposed to an unknown ref obtained through posting your ref link somewhere.
