Do you mean that he was the registrar, or what? And how does that indebt him to you to the extent that he owes people here?

It's a great thing that you're offering to honor his obligations, but I'm sure people would appreciate a more detailed explanation.

I believe he was banned from a4f, because he was a previously banned scammer

So mystuff4free is going to pay for greens that this scammer(iwantalaptop) took away from people, but s/he's not the scammer. Yet people claim that mystuff4free is i want a laptop...hmm.

I will take responsibility for "I Want A Laptop." He registered my domain. I'm sorry for the trouble this caused.

A site owner that can't make a coherent sentance? Surprise Surprise.

Why would you "take responsibility" for somebody else? make's no sense unless you are him.

Because i know him and he used my e-mail and he is my registar.

Yes but that doesn't mean you're supposed to pay off his debts.

mystuff4fre e

23-03-2006 13:23:39

Yes but since my e-mail was used i want to pay the people back. I want to prove i am legit even though i already did.

johnjimjones

23-03-2006 16:36:47

That doesn't prove you're legit. It means you're covering up for a scammer.

Gigante

Or covering up for your own scamming in an attempt to pass the buck.

It's the policy of this forum and administration to not negotiate for or with scammers.

People won't regard you as "more legit" just because you paid people back for someone who used your name/domain/e-mail/dog/dog's e-mail.

You'll be regarded "more legit" by fulfilling orders, good customer support, pleasent site experience and word of mouth.

So keep your money and don't let this scammer off the hook.

My suggestion Pay everyone back and then get your money back from your friend. Then do a good job at being the admin for your site.
