I sent him $22 PayPal to give me a green on ipods.freepay.com and he never completed the trade. He has been ignoring my PMs since Feb 14.
I have filed a complaint with PayPal, in chance that I may get my $22 back and have him charged the PayPal chargeback fee )

I just got into a trade with him on the 17th and he hasn't logged on since... I already did an offer too. I just keep getting screwed over on this site! I've done three trades so far and only one has gone through (thanks KyleRaker). I'm about to call it quits on this board, I feel like I'm the only honest one here.

You just gotta watch who you trade with. Try sticking to the higher TRs to start.

I'd just beg my friend to give me that last green rather than risk getting scammed. ipods.freepay refs are rare, that's why I don't even bother to finish it.

Why would freepay remove a green from him? The don't support or care about people trading.
Freepay's rules don't say anything against trading for greens, or "ripping off" someone to get a green. The only thing Freepay is against is spamming.
He got you to sign up at their site, so as far a Freepay is concerned he is entitled to credit for it.
The only thing we can do is try to stop him from ripping of others on this message board.

I initiated the trade with Shaomoki on 3/3/06. Since then, I PM'd him about 5 times and emailed him 2. I still haven't gotten a response.
I'm just sick of this trading business. It's great when it works, but so far, I've done 3 trades and only 1 has worked.
Hopefully we all get things straightened out w/ Shaomoki.

Ok it took him almost 2 months but he finally went green for me. Very little response from him over that period in fact I had given up on him. Shaomoki is alive and active, probably got himself in a hole and slowly trying to get out, of course that's not an excuse for what he's done.

I asked for a refund on the 23rd or so. He replied on the 24th saying he had already done so. I never recevied the refund. I have been PMing him every day since then. Still no responce.
yeah he told me yesterday that he would paypal me the money we agreed i would get after he decided he didnt want to do another offer and manual credit isnt happening. still, no paypal. i am sure he will come thru, just waiting.
I paid him $30 paypal in the middle of Feb and still no green from him on freeipods. I have tried contacting him for an update and wehn he will refund my money. THis is absolutely ridiculous. I am pretty sure manual credit is out of the question at this point.
i still do not understand why no one had stepped in to make sure he resolves his pending trades instead of doing new ones. he told me last week that if he didnt green in two days he would paypal me the money. it is 5 days later and no money and no answer

Shaomoki scammed me also. I paied him 3/31/06 for 3604free.
I waited 2 days and he didnt even sign into my ref link. I aim'd wolf and told me he got banned. So i did a paypal file and today he responds to the file saying that he completed the offer and site.
So now im out of my 25 bucks unless paypal decides to give it back x x
EDIT maybe if everyone who was scammed does a file claim. Paypal will see he has done it to numerous people, and grant our money back. Who knows it worth a shot roll

I'm in the same situation man. Paypal denied me because the goods were virtual and intangible. I don't understand how I'm the one liable for it at this point? Anyway, they denied the claim. Shaomoki said he did an offer and completed it as a response which is clearly a lie.

Anyway, I will still not accept blame for this failed transaction as I have done nothing but pay and not receive.

That is why I mark all my payments as a good, and don't put a note or subject in it. If a trade goes bad, I can file a PayPal Claim saying that I paid for an item, such as an iPod Case, and never got it. They can't provede a tracking number or proof that they ever shipped it, so I win. D

i have friends who have called the person and then their parents to report the activity...this was in music trading that resulted in a theft of over 40 blank dvds when they were still $$$. basically you send blanks, someone burns a show and mails it back, u pay the shipping. instead of keeping the knowledge that he helped someone the guy stole like ~100 dvds from 20 different people. they called his parents, he was like 22, and they got it fixed )
