I went green for PhayenK, it says his TR is 6 so I thought he would go green for me too. After a few days I sent him a pm, no response from him, a couple days later I sent another one to him, no response. After the 3rd pm he responded and said that he went yellow under my site and it would go green in about a week. I looked at my site and I saw nothing from him. I emailed him saying that I didn't see him on the site and once again, no response from him. I know that he has read the pm's.

That title is silly.
As a newb, any TR always looks legit, but as you get higher up you realize even the +10 traders can be just as shady as the newbs. ?

Some of the high tr members make a whole bunch of people go first, then just disappear, scamming a whole bunch of people.

comp, that doesn't generally happen very often. I can only think of possible three examples.
mut What I'm saying is that you have to go with your gut instinct over TR. Some traders are awful and others are perfect regardless of TR, and I know I ignored TR and avoided getting scammed at least a dozen times. In fact, I've only been scammed once, and that was during my first trade on A4F.

Remeber, you can always remove your green so he won't get credit. Just open a support ticket for the site, and say you got scammed and to remove the credit to the person that scammed you =]

I talked to him about the non reply. (Coincidentally in a PM that we sent to eachother. IE. Communication) And I did an offer for him under the link he sent to me. We set it up and I did it. I havent' gone green, but its only been 4 business days. I didn't know that consisted of a scam.

You two need to compare reflinks to make sure that you sent/received the right one. Then compare email addresses.
If it still doesn't add up, let me know.

lets say that he didnt recieve the right reflink....and he signed up under the wrong one....is there anything he could do about that....because that happened to me (someone sent me the wrong relink and before we knew what had happened, i already signed up)...

ok, under trades, i am the reciever, so i put my link up in the reciever column, if I click on that, it takes me directly to to the site for phayenk to sign up under my referral link. Therefore, he did recieve the correct link to go to.

Since I didn't change the link at all after i put it up for the first time. I don't see how when you click the link it would go to some random site. So basically, I got screwed over, since he already signed up for an offer somewhere else.

Has he been in contact with you? Most sites require users to wait 15 business days before requesting manual credit, so 1 and 1/2 weeks isn't terribly long.
