theres a guy on the forum who set up a trade "brunstar" he has TR9 but on AIM he was rushing me in a hurry and kept raising the prices if i did an xbox offer for him, he offered $50 and kept saying to do stamps.com i said i'd do it later he said if i did it now he'd jack up the price so i did and as soon as i did he signed off of AIM, and his AIM stuff matches his forum ID so i'm assuming he is pulling a scam on a newbie like me /

How does taking a screenshot prove anything. Screenshot can be photoshopped. Therefore , the dude could just cut and paste the "offers completed" with offers not completed section over the legit email. Look a the facts.. the dude had 5 green and wanted the last green (6?? with 6 u can't get anything). As of right now he's up to 8 and ready to skip town. He doens't give a shit if he's banned, cuz he already to submit his approval for hte 300 bux.

What to do is, open a support ticket on the site you did for him, give a link to this thread and ask if they can either verify in this thread that you are green, or if there would be a problem with me logging into your account and then logging back out again to verify it or not.

He lied about Recovered not being green. I spoke to Alan from Trainn, who showed me how to check Recovered's accout without logging into it, and Recovered is green.

Brunstar claimed that he wasn't which is why he wouldn't pay him.

I believe brunstar has now blocked me on AIM so I PMed him and I await a response. If he reads it and doesn't respond, then I'll give him another chance to. If he then doesn't again, then he will be banned.

I am dropping his TR to -1 so he can't trade until he sorts this shit out.

If I was to ban him, then there would be no chance at all of anyone getting their greens or money.

Sometimes, the people that are AT the requirement, in this case Trade Record of 2, has the power to do whatever they want that they can at that level. Usually members with 2-10 TR can EASILY scam people. Offer cash, tell them to go first, and scam them with the instant offers so they get their points FAST. Not a bad tactic either, not at all. You gotta give Brunstar his props, but he could've played it out better and still be trusted. Still though, what he did was wrong.

Thankfully I saved the IM conversation that we had that day. I did my part of the deal with stamps.com and came green for him. I havent heard from him since that day. i had the same experience as other people here, he was the first person i traded with, and i greened for him instantly before i saw this thread and when he still had 9 TR, well, needless to say, 2 weeks later he lied to me twice about which offers he did for me (I know because I confirmed with Jake that the offer he said he did first has NEVER been offered on freepay, and he showed me photoshopped evidence that he did the second offer, which was also obviously bogus). after the first time I gave him a second chance, but after the second time i told him I would have my ref for him revoked if he didnt send me paypal immediately (which would be returned if he ever greened). No problem, but wouldn't he have to contact us in the first place to get our paypal email addresses? I have no intrest at this point in harassing him or making his new name public. I'm glad hes coming back and owning up his responsibilities.

Well when I get the link for the progress pic the only difference from my ref link is they added 1 in front of it

So if my ref link is 5678900 to see my status all I would need to do is

I had a trade with him. It was PremiPods for get5friends. I did his get5friends, but he never did my PremiPods. It was my first trade on this board. I've long since completed that site though. I guess I'd just want some paypal money. Will you contact us later about that?
