I have had an account with this site for some time now( itemsforyou.net). As i got closer to the ordering date my account was placed on hold because they said "Your IP matches several other referrals of the user whom you signed up under, therefore we have decided to close the accounts. Thanks, Maree." If that is so where is the proof?! I just want everyone to know that Gratia and her sites are a big scam. The business that she runs is shady at best. If you have any common sense you will avoid having anything to do with her or her sites. I hope that you will take my advice, otherwise you will be in the same pissed off stage that i am in.
To the admins I think something should be done about gratia before she does this to more people. What she has done is ridiculous and she shouldn't be allowed to continue it.

A4F seems to have a tendency to side more with site owners than members. Remember when the 4nocash network wanted to close down and screw everyone out of their free gifts? A4F mods were less than forthcoming in reporting this info to put it lightly...

One thing that I don't like about the Shoe situation is the fact that you act like you're doing him a favor by not putting him on hold. I think the amount of time you've had to make a conclusion on the situation is what concerns me. Seems like you just keep putting it off so you don't have to pay him.

When I was asked to look at the IP's of the users who had had been DQ'ed, none of the info that I have available to me, linked anyone else. No IP's were the same, only 2 of the refs ('shoe & Riles')registered on this site in the same state but both different places.
The way I saw it everyone was unique, but I can't comment on the info that Gatita had. All I can go on is the info from this site.
I've told 'shoe that I haven't/won't take anyones side in this, but from what I've looked at, shoe' and his refs are/were legit. shrug

They both confirmed there ip, and both did the offer. I'm pretty sure they had different addresses in the dorm also.

Yeah, I agree with ajrock. Point of the matter is still that shoe has made her a substantial amount of money and for her to just take it and say, "Well, some of your refs are a bit fishy," seems like quite a bit of bullshit to me.
If there are certain refs that you are concerned about, tell him those exact refs and why they concern you. I'm sure if you have to take away one or two of his refs he wouldn't mind as much as you just taking the "$900" and putting him on hold.
Obviously slease didn't scam you, so that narrows it down even more...
I just don't see how this is a monthly long process...

Now that's it's gotten this far, she can't admit fault since no one will trust her anymore. You guys (sonofshoe and those that signed up under him) should get all your names/emails together, call up bingos, and ask them if they really weren't reported as individual leads. If you tell them that you are investigating to see if an affiliate is cheating, I'd think they'd be more than happy to help since they can withhold their payments and save some cash.
Giving up on those 4 of 8 referrals without more investigation means giving into a (possible) scammer. The fact that she can't disclose any proof that you cheated even just to you (don't even make it public who cares) is way too shady.

If all 8 of shoe's referrals came from fig ( as jump posted earlier ) , and only 2 were said to be from the same apartment. How are 4 of them DQ'ed? Makes no sense to me...oh well...I think Gatitas network has been tainted enough already for people to think twice before putting themselves through the same crap.
I'd never do any of her sites. I hope all you guys report her to bingos.com or any of the advertisers so they can pull from her and she doesn't scam anyone else. Maybe file something with the BBB. O

I just suggested he find out for himself what is going on since she keeps changing her story (she never said those PMs were changed by sonfoshoe so that part is obvious) or doesn't disclose anything. All she had to do is show proof of what she was saying, just to shoe.
Of course, she is entitled to keep that info private for x reasons, and so sonofshoe should be able to take it upon himself to get the info. No lynching intended, at least on my part. Just trying to look out for the others.

anyone do the startlogic hosting offer for itemsforyou back when the site first started? was told to wait for credit, and pm info from signup. nearly 3 months later, still no credit. and apparently a whole bunch of others never got credit for that offer either. what happened there?

I did get credit for the users who didn't cancel, however they refused to pay for those of you (around 10?) who cancelled after a couple of days (almost all of you )).
There was a big post on that on A4F, so look it up if you want more info.
Oh and next time you have a burning question like that, a simple PM would do the trick wink
