geemic scammed me

I instant greened him for an instant green. He said "I have to go" after I greened him. When I got in touch with him on IM later, he said he'd do it in a minute, never did. Now he won't respond to me at all. DO NOT TRADE WITH HIM!

It would be helpful if you posted a timeline and more details of the trade.

Also, it's impossible to trade for "instant" greens. There are too many factors beyond traders' control that influence when a given offer credits, like the reliability of a given offer or free site operator. You can offer an incentive for an instant green (e.g. $5 extra) to encourage someone to choose an offer that has a history of crediting quickly, but it's unreasonable to hold someone accountable for greening within such a narrow timeframe.

What he did sounds shady, but have you tried contacting him via PM, email, and AIM? Have you asked a moderator for help?

yea this should be last resort, jumping to conclusions doesnt help geemic out if he just hasnt greened in 2 days apparently, so contact him, a mod, then post if nothing happens.....after a while!

geemic, i am with you on this one. I started a trade with this guy, when he found out that i couldnt do an isntant offer, he said he didnt want to trade anymore. He is very impatient, and is just flat out noob. I dont want to sound like im flamming Mushroom1407, but there are so many factors for instant offers, its rediculous to demand only instant. Very bad trader.

Mushroom1407, your best bet to get instant credit is to offer a money bonus for instant greens.

i had a trade with him a month ago and he disappeared with no warning. he came back like a week ago, still waiting for him to green on his re-sign up...i posted about him in this forum after i hadnt heard from him for a few weeks. i wont be able to trust until i see him green.

Just an update Even though geemic replied to this post syaing hes not a scammer and he replied to all my messages, he still hasn't replied to a single one, nor has he signed up for my offers, nor have I gotten a green. F. Him.

Wonderful. Thanks geemic. I wish there were ways to take back greens from people. I guess that just proves, geemic is a scammer. DO NOT TRADE WITH HIM.

You can contact the site you did for him and ask them tot ake it away and why.

I paid $20 to Geemic to do a referral for me on Flashipods4free. I'm not saying he wasn't going to come through, but he hasn't been messaging or e-mailing me back. I filed a claim with paypal to get my $20 back. Anyone else have a similar experience? I don't want to flame him for being a bad trader, but he should keep some communication going.

i havent heard from him in 2 weeks, and he never went green for me. oh well i had 6 greens on the site he was supposed to do, still sucks tho

He never did get around to doing my site (gratis's nano site), and has yet to contact me about refunding me via paypal. I dunno if he's legit or not myself, but he is taking a long, long time.

Yeah I can see that happening a lot. People get scammed and think they can get greens too doing that. Leads down the wrong road.

Yup, they see people scamming or they get scammed by someone and think that maybe that person got something from it so they give it a go, but 9 chances out of 10 they get caught. shrug

heh nice, the site he was supposed to do for u is also the site he was supposed to do for me. glad to see him banned now
