Had a trade with both of these 2, both of them were my first 2 trades and was done w/o the trade module. Went green for both, Ryanish havent responded to me ever since I went green for him.

Stanleyph2 shows up as black "referral not approved" and havent responded to me since.

Sorry things aren't going the way you hoped they would. You may or may not have been scammed, but odds are, you weren't.

First, you didn't post a chronology of the trade and its developments. Bear in mind, greens are rarely instant, even if advertised as so by the site operators. It is commonplace on this board to allow 15 business days to pass before suspecting anyone of trade fraud, let alone openly accusing them.

If you do suspect trade fraud, make sure you have exhausted every possible alternative--including emailing and IMing--before you post in the Scammers section.

It is critical to do your research at every step of this whole process. From the free site operators and trading communities all the way down to individual users, the opportunities for dishonest behavior are many. Read the rules here at FIPG in full. Read the small print at Freepay's site (and others). Read each offer's fine print.

Good luck getting your trade resolved. Here's to hoping I post before someone calls you a n00b...

I wouldnt have posted if they had signed up.

Ryanish stop replying to my PM/IM after I went green for him 2 days ago, he did not sign up for my offer.

Stanley, he went black "Referral was not approved"

I was new here and they were the first 2 to pm me about trades. Because we all had under 2 TR, I thought we couldnt use the trade module.

I misread the sticky, it just said that we couldnt request a TR if we are both under 2 TR. What I thought it meant was we couldnt initiate a trade if we were under 2 TR

Okay, so should I go ahead and file with Paypal to get my money back? It has only been 2 days, but he (Walter Amaya/ Stanelyph2) has NOT responded to any of my PMs. Normally, I would not worry about a 2 day delay, but considering I paid right after he PMd me, I would have thought he would be around to answer at least one of my 3 messages. What do you think?

That's how he was with me. Before and during the trade, he would reply to my PM in like 5 seconds. After I went green, havent heard a single word from him.

Of coarse I read your post. I read them several times actually. All of the other posts were discussing Ryanish, and not mentioning Stanleyph2. So far you were the only person having trouble with Stanley. I was wondering if anyone else had something to say about Stanley. I paid, and he has not done an offer yet. I will file with Paypal in a day or so if no offer has been done by him. Oh, I also searched the entire forum for anything on him, and your posts were the only ones on him.

there is another user on the boards who is using the same IP as Stanlyph2 who joined 1 day after the last time Stanleyph2 visited the forums.

im pretty sure its the same guy, but nobody has said that their problems with Stanleyph2 have been resolved, so its 90% that he's a scammer and will be banned.

I traded with him a while ago and we've kept in some sort of contact since then. I did his psps for my ipods and after i did his psps he claimed it got put on hold and couldnt do anymore sign-ups until he got everything straigtened out. So i told him to send me a screenshot of his psp site being hold, which he did, and then I told him to keep me updated on how it was getting himself off hold. That was a few days ago and I havent heard from him since, i told him about this thread and he said he was "trying to fix the problem as quickly as possible". So i dont know, maybe be legit with a few problems or just a huge scammer.

Well, either way there is no excuse for a total lack of communication on Walter's part. He should have contacted me last week. I am more than patient, more than understanding when people have issues that come up. I know we all have a personal life that needs to take a priority above these trading forums. He either needs to cough up a nice fat green (that stays green) or refund my money asap.

i posted a traed and he replied instantly with a pm saying im a higher trader send me money first this is my paypal. i had like 8 pending trades so i told him to wait so he would go first cause i didnt trust him. than once i was higher TR than him he all of a sudden didnt want to trade anymore and didnt bother responding to my pms. than i go to A4f to check on my trade tehre and he sent me a pm taking the exact same offer with the same reply to it. he of course was higher TR than me there as well. and now he is bannned from both for scamming.

Just out of curiosity, for those that paid stanleyph2, what is the name & email address for his paypal account?

TheySayJump just banned this new guy RonRomero22 because he had the same IP address as stanleyph2 and I just had a successful trade with RonRomero22 2 days before he got banned.

The name/email for RonRomero22 is Walter Amaya/criplebear2@yahoo.com

Is this ringing a bell with any of you?

I made a possibly huge mistake. Paypal won't let you add extra information to the complaint after it is opened. I tried to add the response from Trainn to the complaint but could not so I closed it and tried to open a new one but now it won't let me. Go figure...

There's now a request to reopen the last complaint and refund the money.

Well, I also filed with Paypal, but I am not too optimistic about it. I am handing this over to someone else to look into for me. They have much better connections than I do as far as internet fraud goes. I am sure he is already back on this forum under yet another name.
