well he messaged me about trading gave me his refer links said he would green me immediatly ... so i greened him i was chatting with him on aim i told him then he said i gotta go to sleep ill do it tomorrow .... whatta ya know still not greened been 2 days ..... i pmed him and he hasnt responded nor has he been on aim

I see I'm not the only one that got screwed by him then. This is the second +10 trader I have been scammed by in a month. Maybe even the third by the looks of what is going on with darkancient. What is the deal with this?

oh come on, he hasn't greened on a long weekend and it's only been 2 days. give me a break, people go out during weekends, and sites dont work (or green). wait till later.

Well, he's been banned. There's a lot of stuff you don't know about him that I've been watching. Plus, not sure if someone took over his account the past few days, but last night he was posting tub girl pictures everywhere.

yeah i noticed the tubgirl pics last night also....to be honest it didnt seem like thehunter that i remember, so maybe someone did get a hold of his account.

this is ridiculous. i've gotten over 5 attempts at scamming, and this one. it's amazing how shitty fig's point system is. it definately doesn't show that you're a good trader, even w/ a lot of points

yea, i think i got ripped by this guy too, i greened his gratis xbox, and he never greened me back, never responded to a whole bunch of my pm's either.

the main flaw to this one (or what i see as a flaw...maybe i just don't know how it really works) is that you can give points to other members. thats bullshit. it should be the mod's job to regulate that. i know it won't really help that much cuz people can post that they traded w/ someone else (their scammer friend) and get points, but its a lot easier to scam when you don't have go through a mod

A little update, it was a scammer that supposedly got thehunters name and account. So .. ya .. working on something big now .

Well the fake hunter was using the scammers ref links, don't know why he would be using those, if the real hunter wanted to scam you guys.

you cant GIVE points to other members you can only NOMINATE other members.....you can give other members Karma but that has nothing to do with trading, or what kind of status you have here on these forums....when you have completed a trade with someone, you nominate them on the good traders list, then the other person nominates you, and then a mod or the admin will go through all the nominations and provided that both party has nominated the other, then they will both be given the nominated trade points (i.e +2 for sweeedfish, he did my freeipods and phreeipods).

so yeah you dont get TR points unless it goes through a mod 1st. and all the mods on here are trustworthy and honest (to the best of my knowledge) so they wont scam you out of points if you're worried about that.

yeah this was discussed a couple of weeks ago.....some people thought it was racist, some didnt.....its meant to be a play on the phrase "please nigger". it wasnt meant to be offensive or racist. itwas just meant to be taken in a lighthearted manner i believe.

some people said it didnt offend them cos theyre white (which to me is ignorant cos you dont have to be of a certain colour, race, religion, disposition etc. to agree or disagree with something) and some said it was it should be replaced with something else.

i dont think its going to go away so....if you dont wanna see it again, dont make any mistakes lol D

yea i got scammed by this guy too. he kept stalling by saying his father just died, and his internet was "lagging".
the aim screen name that he used to IM me was prov1manogram.
i thought i could trust him since he had a tr of 10 at the time.

i don't think gratis does anything about scamming, as far as i know... no harm in trying i guess

He wanted to do a trade with me for freeminimacs also. I requested deletion after he didn't respond to my PMs or confirm the trade. I believe anyone on here that says he is a scammer, all the evidence points in that direction.
