NEED YOUR HELP! SCAMMER AMONGST US!

Got contacted by a new member who just got scammed.

He was a member for less then 2 minutes before this guy IM'd him and scammed him.

I may have been scammed by him too when i first started out.
I was also scammed by quite a few people starting off.

I sent an email to that address, and yahoo said that his/her account had been disabled. Hmm.

It was the supercalifragilistics guy that posted gay porn all over the board and then was banned.

I was AIMed by this guy, too, but I didn't respond. Anyway, I think I've found our man, though I haven't been able to figure out if he's using a new account. Let me guess, the text of the link and the actual link it went to are different? I asked if he knew, and he said yes. So I'll bet that he says you don't show up on his status page. This is probably because one of the two referral links are not his, so he'll say that you must not have signed up for his.

That's the guy, he told me he was from Ohio. Allroz is a little bitch. Watch out, he also uses the AIM SN nsevolutions. I got scammed bu him as well.

let me clear things up, MY email= is email=nsbonifire@gmail.comnsbonifire@gmail.com is email=nsbonifire@gmail.comnsbonifire@gmail.com/email , email==allroz42@yahoo.comallroz42@yahoo.com=allroz42@yahoo.comallroz42@yahoo.com/email , and email==mammaryman@gmail.commammaryman@gmail.com=mammaryman@gmail.commammaryman@gmail.com/email My primary email is the nsbonifire one, i created the allroz one for forum related stuff, and the mammaryman one ill get to later.. the username allroz, was one of my aliases that i used a lot on other forums, and on my website. my friend ripped it off of me, to use as his own. since then, i can see he has scammed quite a few people. that name from what i can tell got banned. as for what abrock said, i am currently involved in a trade with him. i will not deny my email is nsbonifire one. i was gong to do hsi dvr's and some other one. well, on one site i used the mammaryman, so i would not be thought of as a scammer. that email was strictly used to protect myself against being pinned as a scammer. i signed up on his other stie, but forgot myself and used my real one. i am pretty new, and do not want to be banned for trying to be a legit trader. i hope this clears things up. if you need anything else, don't hesitate to post here or im me. im not a scammer, i jsut want to clear my name. thanks.

I am not taking sides, if this guy is the real scammer then i do think he needs to be banned. However, he did go green on ds4free for me. It was a legit trade. Maybe he is telling the truth, or maybe he was a scammer before and is now trying to be legit. Its up to you to decide for yourself.

He got me over aim too, I did an offer for him on my first day and he dissapeared. I sent him an aim message on NSaticity and he signed off and signed in as chittybang78, haven't seen him on since.

Hey guys, I am in the process of clearing things up with Salute. At the moment, I am waiting for him to go green for me at Applefree4u. I was really pissed about the whole situation like many others that had been scammed by allroz and other names associated with him. The story above about a friend getting ahold of his account can be proved true if he does in fact go green under me. Please do not ban Salute as of right now because he may be able to redeem himself.

What about all the other people? If if youre friend got ahold of your account its still your responsibilty to compensate them in some way

Why don't we turn off the memberlist feature? Or at least make it only visible for traders with high Trade Record?

I think newbs are big targets for scamming and a lot of people spam from the memberlist.

I wasn't scammed by this punk but I have gotten a ton of unsolicited pms from people trying to get me to trade to "help me get my tr up fast". Most were bs offers and smelled fishy. Most were for sites I already completed anyway. But I can see i am gettting a lot of trade offers out of nowhere because I don't have very many post.

Just because I am new here doesn't mean I am new to this scene lol.

Is unsolicited pm spam a bannable offense? If so maybe we need a sticky that people can report it and those users that do it get banned.

I'm not talking about pming someone in regards to a trade thread they made or posted in, but a few of the ones I got were completely unrelated to anything I have ever posted and I know they were just pm spam. As far as I know it was this same punk just uinsg a new nick...

heh, makes me glad I'm new and scared to trade with anyone. I'm sure I'll be scammed, probably am already but this is one less haha. If it were my friend that took over my account - first, I wouldnt try to make ammends for my friends actions, second I would hang my friend out to dry and make him accountable for his own actions.
