And really, it's not that hard or difficult to ditch an eBay account, especially since that account has a relatively low eBay score. Not to mention "negative feedback" on eBay isn't really worth the mantle of "bad trader." Usually negative feedback simply indicates a trade that went haywire, but a scammer is a scammer.
Just stick to good traders at first (set a limit for yourself -- it doesn't have to be simply +2), look through their posts to see what type of person they are, and use a little common sense. You should be fine.
