If you do as echostats did you will also get bant!!! He spammed everyones post it must have been like 10 posts where he offered trades where it wasnt asked for and he tried hijacking threads.. if you do the same thing you will be bant just like him.

why do you guys use the term "bant" as opposed to "banned?" Just curious where that variation came from. I actually kinda like it, as it sounds more hardcore (e.g. "you been BANT, mofo!").

That's pretty silly ban someone for something like that. Why not warn him first, then ban him?

Why hasn't PodTopia been banned - he does nearly the same thing.

Well no, I mentioned it in one other post and that thread (which was started by you incidentally) was deleted.

I don't have any problem with people posting alot - if I had more constructive things to say I would likely post more as well - but to ban someone (or request for someone to be banned) for posting a lot seems a little egregious.

That said, I'm not here nearly as often as other folks are and don't even know echostats, so I have no real interest in him posting or not, just seems like a bit excessive to ban someone for posting that they need photoipod refs - even if it was in the wrong threads. Why not warn him first or delete just his responses and publicly warn him?

Doylnea echostats has already been bant once for not following the rules....his friend Josiah (name is something like that) asked me to unban him and he said that echostats will follow the rules and i unbant him....maybe you didnt look but he went into like 10threads in a row and said he needs photo. The trade threads that people put up are to get trades not get hijakced by other users. Echostats will not get unbant. breaking the rules more then once = bant!!! The only person that can unban him is the admin cause i wont do it

well I didn't know he had been banned in the past - but it seemed that based on one other member's request that he had banned.

I know nothing so have no personal stake in the deal.

thanks i appreciatte that and yes i dont get anything out of modding mabe an occasional green. Most people here are only here to get theres and thats it but whatever. And echostats has been bant before so when he did that i had to ban him it was only right.

This applies to all hijacking correct? It's annoying to see people create a post for a trade for freeipodshuffles and every reply is "I'll pay you for photoipods, flatscreen etc."

And people are still doing after you made this posts roll

I think it is harsh. Can we please unbant him. I will sacrifice the only ++trade i have to get him back on. he has been a great trader and a very straight forward guy. And i can assure you he will not do it again. I don't know him personally but dealing with him have been nothing but simple and easy...and tells a lot about him.

Absolutly not! He was already bant once and then unbant. And the last person that pleaded for him said the same thing that he will never do it again. I wont lift the ban if the admin wants to that fine but i wont do it....and NO its not harsh you dont say anything when i ban noobs that break rules there is no diffrence just because he is a good trader
