You have to be a member when they get the form for the gift cards and that will be long after the 7 day free trial. You'd be paying a lot more than $4 to get those cards, just FYI to anyone that doesn't know.

you don't have to be a member to get the gift cards...i've gotten quite a lot of them just by cancelling the next day. They send an email to your email address in 2-3 days after you sign up for the trial and you input your member # and address and the gift cards come in about a week.
