I have a photoiPods account at Gratis. I have 3 greens and a completed offer along with 60+ yellows. Make an offer here if you would like it. It's a start. The reason I am selling it is because I don't really want another iPod when I already have one.

Don't waste your money...This is 100% TOTALLY against the TOS and you will most likely be put on hold.

Um...Why did you just post this. Every rule that you just ripped from their TOS is something that I can argue that I am not breaking the rules with. First off for letter [bcf7d0c2af5]D)[/bcf7d0c2af5]I never joined for another person, Atleast I didn't have in mind of opening account for someone.[bcf7d0c2af5] E)[/bcf7d0c2af5] How the hell would you transfer referral credits between accounts anyways? Exactly, you can't![bcf7d0c2af5] F)[/bcf7d0c2af5]I will change my password to a generic one.

Oh, also...Why the hell would you be put on hold? Change of address and name? Heck, How about I moved to another state and later died and my relative decided to cash out for my account.

Keen311

11-02-2005 19:52:48

there is nothing illegal about what you are doing. I don't have a freephotoipods account so all is legit anyways.

Stanleychs1437

so logging into your account with another ip address wouldn't get you on hold?

vulcan300

11-02-2005 21:38:20

loggin in at diff ips shouldnt be that big of a deal, i was approved still for loggin in on my suitemates comp or at home. its like what if you wanted to check ur status on ur friends comp or at the library or sync site, anyway as long as its not repeated log ins like every 5 mins, you should be ok, ... maybe.

Seems iffy, i doubt that gratis would interpret their rules so broadly.
If the address that you changed it to already had an account on it, they would almost certainly catch it during review (AFTER you have invested 7 more referrals). They might even notice the IPs.
I would recommend the following precautions if you take over an account
1. Do not change the address to one that already has a FIPP account.
2. Do not change the name, (You don't need to to get it to the right house, and it would raise unneeded suspicion)
3. Use a friends computer to check it.

Edit I'm not an expert here, just giving my opinion.

It is still up for sale or a trade of another account of some sort. The man that offered $40 doesn't want it cause he thought the site only required 5 refs like freeipods.com

I've talked to Gratis top brass about this and their stance is that it's against the rules, but OK if you don't get caught. And you're probably going to get caught. If you can somehow NOT get caught, then it's worth it. But that's not saying much...

I have the same thing as you Collateral. I have 3 greens and tons of yellows and I've completed my offer and I don't want to do mine anymore. I don't think selling it is a good idea. But you can make some good $$$ off of it I guess.

Collateral

12-02-2005 13:33:10

Alright. I'll just keep it and see if I can complete it. Very unlikely that I will though (

Keen311

12-02-2005 13:33:45

Or you could just go through with it, get all the greens. and sell it on ebay.

Yeah, this work could be put towards a mini-mac or something. I don't think the photo ipod is worth it. I've already got my 20GB.
