Hey, I am currently trying to get a few more needed "Greens" on ipods.freepay.com.

I am offering $10 via PayPal, for every completed green. I know that other people are offering more money, but if I had that type of money to give away would I just go out and buy a Ipod myself from a store? Why would someone give away $20-$40 when if you add it up you can buy a new one from the store? Though with the Real Audio Superpass offer it's a free trial, so in the end you are the one who walks away with $10 in your pocket.

There is currently a FREE offer that I am able to see, that is for 14 day Free Trail of Real SuperPass (Real Audio Player). It is very easy to cancel if it is not something that you end up liking, but is is a good service that is more useful than some online casino. As I ended up canceling, as I do not spend alot of time online to use the service, as I had switched careers and no longer was at my computer.

I think you should offer more between $30-40 dollars for freepay ipod... since it is pretty rare to get someone to join sign up.

Just to let you know the running rate for that site is around $30+, but if you can find peeps to do it for $10 more power to ya.

I dont care if you dont like how I went a head and explained the offer, I know you could easily check it out for yourself on your own account, but I thought I would save you the trouble, like I said before, I am from Canada, and my American friends who have signed up under me cannot see some of the offers that I see.

Though some of you are doubting that it was a free trail, like I said above, I ended up having to canel the service as I no longer was able to use it (I swithced careers, from typing up invoices in my families business to child care, where there are no computers) I was able to cancel before the trail ran out and was not charged, hence the "Free Trial". It was a great service, I would concider going back to it if I was able to actually spend more time on the computer, as well as the 10 music downloads a month is pretty cool, but that part of it is not available to Canadians only Americans.

I am not going to up the price higher than $10 for a completed green, as most offers are around that price, and you would make your money back that you spent. Like I explained before, why would I spend more than that to recieve a ipod from a website, when I could just go to the store and buy one myself? If I was offering $40 dollars for each completed green in the end I would have spend $200 (the price of an Ipod Mini, or Shuffle) Those who are offering more than $10 for "Green" are idiots, just based on the whole concept of the website freepay.com is a "Free Product Website" your not exactly getting a free product if you have to spend that kind of money.

I do agree with you that $40/referral is insane, but it does not change the fact that no one is going to do your site for $10. (

ajrock (and the others) are correct.

I see you've started to entertain the notion of trading by what's in your signature. This is probably the only way to get your iPod from Freepay without paying as much as you would at Wal-Mart. You'll probably have to do 2 for 1 trades, though. But, you keep telling everybody how it's no big deal and it costs nothing, so maybe you don't mind completing 10 offers for your iPod.

My advice get something for signing up at an easier site and then get your 5 or so greens on 1 for 1 trades. Others would probably tell you the same.


One last note you could possibly get lucky if somebody with the heart of a saint takes your $10 offer, but I really, really doubt you'll even get one. Ever. If a moderator theoretically made your offer a sticky at the top of the forum and labelled it "BEST TRADE OFFER EVER" you'd still have to be the luckiest person alive to get 5 greens from it within the next decade. That's just being honest.

Some of you really make me laugh. I have had people complete offers for $10, and they wernt idiots either. I dont care how long it takes for me to recieve my ipod. I am more than willing to wait a few months before I am able to have all of my greens. If I was in a rush to get my ipod, I would raise the price of what I am offer, or I would just go out and buy one myself.

I think we've helped a lot by bumping it. Probably the only chance for a trade is some poor sap clicking on the first thread, reading the first post in it and starting a trade without knowing he could be getting $40. Otherwise this post would slide off the board unnoticed with all the other unreasonable offers.

Anyway, sugar-devil, if you can get your friends to green for $10, that rocks. Trading is probably the only semi-affordable way to do it here, and even then you could probably do better with another free site that doesn't need 2 for 1 trading.

What makes a forum is the sense of comunity you guys are acting like a bunch of gangster wannabees from the getto and completely ruining this board. Did you really do that the first time you came to this forum... didn't think so you either were told about the site by a friend who helped you out or you break the rules minorly on your first post.

YOu should get a polite correction and sent off to the rules and told to look around and see what it's all about.

Instead it seems to have become a custome in the last couple days to have a bonfire.

As I said in another post, please stop flaming the newbies when the violate a rule. Point out the rule that they violated and move on. This Trading Post would be nothing without newbies so we have to make this a welcoming place for them.

Yes they should read the rules, but flaming them isn't going to make them want to stay here, it's only going to make them want to go somewhere else.

Big deal, she is only offering $10 for FreeiPods.com, that's her choice and if she doesn't want to offer anymore she doesn't have to. If she doesn't get any offers, then it's her problem.

I'm tired of this bullshit. As I also said in the other post; Anyone who flames a newbie for violating the rules will receive a temp-ban.

If they violate a rule, then fine, tell them that they did and if they don't follow it, then that's their fault and they will receive the consequences.

Don't post in other peoples threads telling them how much they should be offering etc, it's considered thread-crapping and will also warrant a temp-ban.

Believe me when I say that there is nothing I like more about this forum than giving someone a 3 day temp-ban and then remembering about it 7 days later.

Oh and sugar-devil, you can go ahead and make another thread in here, but please please please, make sure you read the rules and the FAQ before doing so.
