So my cousin did a referal for me and didn't get credit from stamps.com on mp3players4free.com And he applied for a manual credit. Waited my ten days and still didnt' get credit. He got a support ticket and OC told him that they can't do anything about it and that he should do another offer. He looked at the offers but they had changed them because my other referals went green so all he had were OOD's. So he got another support ticket and voiced how he was upset and that he wanted credit and they told him to contact the advertiser. So he went to stamps.com and sent them and email explaining that he was a member of mp3players4free.com and that he did the offer and liked it and that he didn't get credit and that OC told him to contact stamps.com. And he sent a copy of the confirmation email to them and asked them if they could contact OC so he can get credit or tell him why he was denied credit.

Do you think it will work? Anybody ever done it? or know how long it will take?

To this day, I still haven't received credit for the offer I did for mp3players4free. OC certainly didn't tell me to contact the advertiser, but I did. Their exact response was

[quote82eedeb667="OfferCentric"]Unforutnately Curb your Cravings is an instant offer. If you did not receive credit within 5 seconds of completing the offer, the offe was not completed correctly. Please understand we are only paid for transactions which are approved and we receive notifications on. You will need to complete a different offer.

I haven't touched them since...

Well I'm a the type of person that won't give up. . . I'll keep this going till i get it straightened out. I'll call and I'm gonna get it to work. . .

Probably not though ( OC will put me on hold and it's not that hard to block an email (

I'm not the type of person to give up either. But I decided that, rather than fight for credit and try to complete the site, I would make sure that OC never sees another penny from me or my refs. I understand the principle of the situation, but in practice, avoiding their sites and telling potential customers what happened gets me closer to justice than a string of angry emails would have.

This is the response my cousin got from Stamps.com.

Dear Geoff,

Thank you for contacting Stamps.com.

The offer that you describe is not something fulfilled by Stamps.com,
although the website that you visited may participate in a program with
Stamps.com known as the "affiliate program". This program allows
companies with a web site to create a link to Stamps.com.

We reward our affiliates with an incentive when they send a customer to
us who stays beyond the trial period with their account in good
standing. This is the entirety of the offer on our end, and many other
Internet companies have similar affiliate programs. So in this case
you'll most likely need to provide them with proof that you have paid a
Stamps.com service fee and thus kept your account in good standing.

As such there are a number of web sites that try to convince their
users
to sign up with Stamps.com using their link. They may offer free
products, service, or/and some sort of prize (for example, "points"
that
are redeemable for a range of select merchandise). It appears that
something similar may have happened in your case.

What this would mean is that the web site whose link you used, as
opposed to Stamps.com, is the entity who made the offer you describe,
and would be thus responsible for fulfilling it. Therefore you'd need
to contact that web site, determine if any agreement made between you
has been satisfied, and based on that result allow them to take action
per any offer they provided.

So he's kinda given up. I'm using his account and trying to work this out, cuz i really want to get credit for him signing up.

So I send another support ticket to OC with this email. and i said

Hi I contacted stamps.com . . . I'm not sure who I should really be after here for my credit, but I really want credit for this. And in an earlier support email you send me you told me to complete another offer. I might be willing if they offers that were first offered to me when i joined the site were still available. Now I only have choices of webhosting, and wine which I am not at all interrested in. I would like to recieve credit for this offer.

So what do you think will happen next?

OC's Response. . . .

Hello,

Your confirmation email will be sent to our advertiser for review. If
you
do not receive credit within 10 business days after submitting your
confirmation email, this is an indication that the advertiser did not
approve the transaction and you will not receive credit. Please
understand
that we only receive commission when your transaction is approved.

That sounds a lot like

"We have no intention of crediting you for this offer, or even answering another manual credit request. "

did you ever click stamps.com on another free site just to check it out? (just looking at offers on another site, click stamps.com to check it out, then exit out).. then like a week later, month later, whatever, go to mp3players4free and then click stamps.com again and order on stamps.com?

My Response to the email
I already got that email before! I've been trying to get credit for this offer for a while and i have already submitted the information 4 times. I want to know why after i had completed the offer all my offers changed and i was no longer able to complete the stamps.com offer. I think that is why I'm not recieving credit, because the offers i was allowed to complete changed. And I dont' think this is fair. The least you can do is change my offers back to the large list of offers and not the offer page with only about 5 offers.

And please dont' send me that for letter about submitting for credit again. I've gotten that too many times, take the time and give me a real answer.

I dont think this is gonna work. I know i will never do an OC site ever again.

I know but i'm not gonna do an OOD and they screwed me over. . . so i'm gonna give them a hard time and if they cancel me then fine.
