I kinda like the Archos but I don't why. I looked up all of them and they seem pretty comparable in specs. I also like the actual dvd player because it has a ginormous screen and would be awesome for all my plane trips.

the creative is probably what i'll go for, either that or whichever goes for the most money, as im going to sell it. I dont reall have a use for these at all, and would rather save up for a laptop.

Interesting. The PVP and the TV are the only offers I really have an interest in. The rest will be gifts/sold.

I've picked the Archos. It's got some cool features on it like a CompactFlash slot and the ability to act like a TiVO and record TV shows to it.
Of course, once I get it, I want to start burning some of my fav. shows to it from DVD.

Without question, the Archos is the best. Not only have I seen them in person to make this statement, but just check CNet.com for reviews. The iRiver was just reviewed, and got blasted, just like the Yanks/Cards! The Archos got the highest marks of all PVPs. The Creative Zen is good, but it lacks the TiVo capabilities of the Archos.

Everyone should post reasons why they actually want a specific one (if you have any) so we get a better idea.
I'm thinking about the Archos because
- can record directly from TV (the Zen PMC can record if your computer has a tv card) and you can schedule recordings
- CF card slot so while I'm out I can transfer my photos to it to free up my card for my camera.
OR, the DVD player because it would be perfect for the plane. I'm undecided.

I should make it more clear it doesn't play .mpgurl==http://=http:///url file. That's what I should have written to start with. Then it comes with virtualdub and a specific front-end to convert your files.
Finally, we could always hope for a firmware that would allow playing .mpg.url==http://=http:///url I believe there'll be a lot of user pressure to get this.
