Have Your Trade Thread Stickied! --[UPDATE]-- Only $5

The staff at FreeiPodGuide are now offering you the opportunity to have your trade thread stickied ("stuck" at the top of your desired forum in order to gain more exposure as it is not affected by other people posting and it being pushed down the page) for a very nominal fee of [b9752b3baa9]$5[/size9752b3baa9][/b9752b3baa9][/color9752b3baa9].

Subsequently we have changed the way that The Trading Post works.

1) We've divided the forum up into two separate forums. One for Cash Offers (you pay someone cash to green for you or you green for cash for someone else) and Trade Offers (you complete a site for someone else and they complete a site for you in return).
2) As previously mentioned you are now able to have your trade thread stickied at a cost of [b9752b3baa9]$5[/size9752b3baa9][/b9752b3baa9][/color9752b3baa9]. We're allowing 5 threads to be stickied in each of the two forums for a maximum of 48 hours and you can only have one thread between the two forums, not one in each.

We will be using a waiting list in order to give everyone a fair chance at having their thread stickied. Once your thread has expired it will be unstuck and drop back down into the regular threads. If you would like to have it stuck again you must send another request to StickyMod AFTER your current thread has expired.
[b9752b3baa9]Do not initiate trades with or attempt to trade with StickyMod; he is a Trading Post moderator only. Anyone caught PM Spamming, trying to initiate trades, setting up trades, asking to trade with StickyMod or anything else not related to stickies or the moderation of The Trading Post will be temp-banned for 14 days.[/b9752b3baa9][/color9752b3baa9]

[b9752b3baa9]Also, the same rules apply for these sticky threads (e.g. no friendly bumping and etc.).[/b9752b3baa9][/color9752b3baa9]

You may contact him regarding stickies, Trading Post violations, questions, reporting scammers, suggestions or anything else pertaining to The Trading Post/Trading. Remember you can also contact the other staff members with your questions also (excluding stickies).

[b9752b3baa9]To sticky your thread, you must[/color9752b3baa9][/b9752b3baa9][/size9752b3baa9]
1.) Create your trade thread.
2.) PM StickyMod[=http//forum.freeipodguide.com/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=34333]StickyMod a request with a link to your trade thread.
3.) Once your donation has been received and confirmed your thread will be stickied.

Feel free to PM any questions or concerns about the Trading Post to StickyMod (or any other moderator) at any time.

Please feel free to comment on this or offer tips or criticisms. We look forward to hearing from you!

You can now send larger payments to cover more days if you wish. [/color9752b3baa9][/size9752b3baa9]

Yay... Finally. Just PM to place an order. ;)

25-03-2008 12:51:52

I've replied to all of the donation sticky requests so far. We'll be keeping a queue now so no worries if you request late. ;)

(Although, if you want to get a sticky up there really fast, there are a few more slots left for tonight. P )

Sent you a pm, now if I could only figure out how to send the donation.

12-04-2008 15:48:08

You need to PM me and ask for the sticky donation email.

17-04-2008 08:22:42

Is it still possible to get on the list?

17-04-2008 12:10:27

Yes ma'am. Just PM me and I'll give you the donation email to send the $5 paypal to. There really isn't even a list. After you pay you usually get stickied in about 2 days.

09-05-2008 15:30:23

I have PM you. Thanks.

13-06-2008 00:03:53

So I'm guessing that since there's only one sticky topic at the moment, that the waiting list isn't to long? Do you still put up to 5 at a time on there or is it only one at a time?

14-06-2008 11:09:08

It's still 5 at a time. Over the past few days not very many have requested to be stickied. shrug

14-06-2008 14:51:43

Next question is can I donate to be a sticky? Since I'm not creditable here yet, having a big goose egg for my itrader!

14-06-2008 15:38:02

Yes, you can donate to get a sticky. Just send a PM. ;)

18-06-2008 15:45:59

Well I wanted to donate and be a sticky, but now I'm on pm restriction. I finally got some bites on my thread and was helping 2 diferrent people step by step as I always do. I had no idea that we could only send out 8 pms per 24 hours as a newbie. So all you newbies to this forum beware and save your pms. So as soon as I can get off restriction, I'll send the donation.

20-06-2008 01:04:45

The donation has been sent! Sticky me!

Is it $5 per day?

Also I keep hearing about PM restrictions, what is considered a newbie? Post count or trade record count?

01-08-2008 13:36:14

It's $5 for 48 hours. However, if you wish to go for a longer amount of time, it will be just a tad bit more expensive because we try discourage long stickies so everyone can get a chance. However, I haven't been backed up on stickies with a waiting list ever before so don't feel bad if you do indeed want to pay for a longer sticky. Just be sure to PM me (StickyMod - not J4320) to talk about pricing.

For more information on PM restrictions, take a look here

My inbox was 100% filled so I cleared all the messages. I wasn't sure but I thought there might have been a possibility that I couldn't receive anymore PM messages due to the inbox being full. I forgot if it automatically deletes your oldest PM or just won't receive any new PM messages.

Anyway, if you were trying to get a sticky, sorry about that.
