Can somebody please tell me what exactly I am doing? I signed up to do "data entry" and thought I would be typing up letters that someone handed me and told me the words to be writing. This is all another language to me. I was just thrown into this website, not knowing what to do. I don't even know where to get started or what to do or type to make money. What am I doing? Can someone spell it out to me and actually help me out here? PLEASE?

Why would you ever sign up for data entry?

Really?

That is not this.

Not even a little bit.

BECAUSE...that's what the ADD in the NEWSPAPER said this was. "somone looking for data entry positions" Then I signed up with that website, thinking I was doing data entry at home (like typing up bills or something) and that webiste sent me here to get started. So, basically I was scammed! Also, I had to pay $40. for nothing! I'm not an idot, maybe a sucker. Like I'm happy about it???!

So, since I already paid to do "work" and it's not data entry, can you at least tell me what work this actually is? So, maybe I can give it a shot?
Maybe help me out here? Someone must be nice enough to take a minute out of their life to give someone a helping hand? I would....

This wasn't something called Project Payday by chance, was it?

If they're stooping to that level now, it reeks of scam and lowers my opinion of them even further. They charged people to join there program and then sent a bunch of folks here. We don't charge anything, a Google search would have brought you here for free.

This site is focused on the "freebie" industry, primarily where you sign up for trial offers of products and services and/or recruit referrals to do so, and get products and money in return. Nothing to do with data entry, unless you count typing your name & address into order forms.

Feel free to stick around, but this isn't an "easy" way to make money. Nobody should depend on this freebie hobby as a source of reliable income. And right now, like a lot of other businesses, it's in quite a downturn.

Thanks David, So, I guess I got scammed. Well, at least it was only $39.95. I thought I would be doing work at home. Like typing up letters for the company and would be mailing them out or emailing all my work done for the day to somone and they would pay me on how many letters I got sent out. I had the whole wrong idea of what I thought I was going to be doing. The add in the paper said looking for a "data entry processer" to work at home. Then when I went onto the website they made me pay the free on my credit card before they "let me know what I would be doing" I say it in quotes because even then they still didn't tell me much of anything, just gave the website to start to work on. I don't know anything about this "line of work" and honestly it's just not for me. Thanks for getting back to me though, Shannon

Are you saying it WAS Project Payday? And now they've stooped to the classic scam of advertising "Work at Home" programs in classifieds and going so far as to call it a "data entry processor?" If so, damn that's low.

While annoying, they started out relatively legit I think. They sent a ton of people looking to make the odd buck here and to other forums, and several of those folks have been successful here. Most, however, just clogged up the forums for several months until they figured out it wasn't for them or couldn't follow simple but strict procedures.

Hard to believe they've fallen that far though, unless you confirm it. Most likely you fell victim to some random anonymous scammer, and not PPD.

You know what?

That might actually be how I got redirected here in the first place too.

I had no idea how I even got to this site, but I looked around, read up a bit, worked with Sandra Habina and here I am.

But I think it may have actually have been the same thing she's talking about. Let's burn PPD at the stake.

Hi shannonvirgo,

Welcome to this site. I know it is hush when you sign up for something and you end up seeing that actually is something else. I can assure you that you can do tho work from home with this sie, if you consider trading as a work from home thing. It won't make you rich, but at least you can recuperate the money you invest and make some more.
I do suggest you look a bit around and contact serious traders that have history here. They will be more then happy to assist you and help you succeed here.
Although it might look hard, everything it's easy if you do the right steps.
I am doing this for almost 8 months now and I am happy I signed up with this site. I met here lots of great people that soon became my trusted friends.
Good luck to you and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask. We all were new at one point)

I would also contact your credit card company and tell them the situation. Do a chargeback on it, and get that money back!
