what if i have 4 buddies who live in a college dorm, and they all signup from the same dorm room but use thier home addresses (b/c to be honest they are home more than they are at school, but at school is when i could get them all to sign up)... would gratis notice its all from the same IP address? would they care?

i believe they do check IP addys...just do it from library computers or something.

I think you would be ok. I read one guy took his laptop to the student center which is setup with WiFi and had 5 different people sign up on the spot with the same laptop. He said he had no problems. Maybe he was just lucky though.

LOL!!! it doesn't matter how many routers you have. One connection to the other routers = STILL THE SAME IP.
it generates connection from the main line/connection. it's not different like seperate computers from dialup.

Use dial up and just sign on and off.......changes your ip everytime lol

No. I have two computers on a router with two different ips. They IPs are similar though. For example
2.34.567.99
2.34.567.88

College networks don`t have many external IPs, and that's what counts. You may get put on hold, but just explain them and they should be ok with it.
