the CompUSA in my town has the mini (although not all the colors) the Apple 20 & 40 and the hPod instock. made me want it even more messin around with the display model lol.

It seems like some people are keen on the idea of getting the hPod and then trading it in for a mini and a little extra loot. That'd probably be the fastest way to get a mini.

I don't see why anyone would want a mini. An 80% cut in space for a few mm of space saved at the same price? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm actually not going for the mini, I gave the idea of trading in the hPod some consideration and decided I need (or at least will need) the 20 gigs.

i think im going to buy the mini with my own money, then order the HP ipod through FIP and then when it gets there decide which one i want and sell the other

I have the 20Gb HP sealed but I wanna trade it in for a mini because I'll never use all of the 20GB, 4Gb would sui me more. Does anybody know a store that would exchange the 20Gb hp for a mini?

man if you sold the 20gig on ebay you would probably make more money than the mini actually costs....
