Macintosh Performance Comparison

This is a nice little comparison in benchmarks between the Mini and a few of its brothers.

Thought that some of you may enjoy the read.

Yeah, I'm rather pleased with the mini's performance. The HD's a bit pokey but that's about it. Up the RAM and it's not even an issue.

Now that I have a gig in my Mini, I've had pretty much nil performance issues. The hard drive is a bit slow, so opening up apps and booting can be a bit slow, but once things are in memory there is not a problem to be seen.

i wanna see some comparsions to PCs wink

The problem with PC comparisons are gonna come up in what's a fair test. Either way the mini's bound to lag behind most PCs. It IS a lower end Mac. However if you compare it strictly to PCs in it's size range I'd be willing to bet heavy money on the mini. Not to mention most low end PCs have an integrated video card with shared memory for it's video unlike a dedicated 32MB here. ;)
