My order didn't come for a long time, and I contacted DHL and they say my order is lost in transit. Do you guys know how Free Ipods handles insurance claims and such? I'm hoping I can at least get compensation for all of the effort I put into getting this far (.
Me = very angry at DHL

Isn't DHL quite new to the shipping scene? Not a few impressive start if you ask me. I'd be totally bummed.

They're not really that new. They don't have anywhere near the marketshare of FedEx and UPS, but DHL has been around for many years.

eh id say usps cause ups tracking sucks.
FedEx is the way. Cheaper than UPS with slightly better service (Sat. included).
USPS is completely useless when it comes to anything heavier than a pound inside the US. There's no tracking, insurance is costly and it costs more than even UPS to ship.
Also, some nice chicks work at FedEx Kinkos. The UPS Stores are a bunch of rip-offs overpacking the shit out of everything and charging crazy prices.
So, FedEx and Kinkos!

Well, FWIW, I rank them in order as FedEx, USPS, then UPS a distant 3rd. I don't rank DHL because I've never used them.
I hate UPS with a passion, they totally mangle nearly every package I get from them. I also have my own FedEx and UPS shipper accounts and FedEx is so much easier to work with than UPS's stupid system. FedEx Ground is cheaper than UPS Ground and the quality of service is much better overall.
So neener neener... P

I love that FedEx/Kinko's commercial where the guy is trying to ship a package to Pa-Ho-Nix (Phoenix)! LOL...

Did you ask your cousin if he stole it? That's what happened to mine, seriously. Ask your friends and family, maybe they are playing a joke on you.

If that were the case then the shipping company would show that it was delivered and would tell you so. If DHL is saying his is "lost in transit" then they're admitting they never delivered it.

It's been two or three days since I contacted Gratis about my problem, and still no reply. Is that a bad thing? How long do you guys usually have to wait to get a reply?
DHL has been around for a while, but they were pretty small time. Recent acquisition of Airborne Express and a new yellow color had basically transformed them to a new company. But they are still leaps behind Fedex and UPS, but are now at least a considered option for some companies.

According to their website, they've been around since 1969 and are now an [b76f9da8077]$18 BILLION[/b76f9da8077] company. I knew they'd been around a long time but had no idea they were that big. Must be mostly due to the Airborne acquisition.
