Have you ordered accessories even without your iPod?

I don't know if I have enough faith in this thing to spend my money on a case (xskn), itrip, and sony headphones (total ~ $120) until I have my ipod in hand.
What about you guys?
It would sure be nice to have the itrip for the car, the case to prevent any early scratches and the better headphones when the thing came, though.

I would hold off until the Ipod is in hand. I would think you would want to try the headphones with the IPOD to make sure you like the sound first.
If you buy the headphones and it takes another two months to receive your IPOD and the headphones end up sucking, you might have waited too late to return the headphones to get a refund.

I'm holding off as well. Once that tracking number is posted, it's a friendly call to my MacMall rep and here comes the accessories!
Although, I'm really questioning $35 for a piece of rubber to protect the damn thing... but alas, I guess I need one, huh?

Holding off here. I plan on getting an iTrip if/when my iPod arrives, due to a lack of tape deck and aux input in my car stereo...but I cannot justify buying this item until I've actually received the merchandise.
Don't get me wrong...I have faith in Gratis. For some reason, I'm just afraid that they may crumble or go under before I get the chance to received the iPod due to high demand.

Good call there - I'll place some orders once I see that "shipped" pop up. I'm going to hold off on the car charger because I can't really take my car on long trips any more (1994 GMC Sierra - bad gas mileage and getting close to unreliable). When I get a new car I want to look into one of those ICELinks for your car, they look pretty sweet.

ENGRDawq, does this ICELink system work on a car that lacks a tape deck, or AUX input? It looks pretty nice, but I suspect I will not be able to use it (I do however have a cigarette lighter).

I have read/heard that there will possibly be another promo where you get a free zipcase with an exo skin. I actually sort of want a zipcase too heh, but oh well.

I decided to do freegiftplanet offers to get a free pair of Shure e2c headphones. Figure that's a gamble worth taking since they're excellent headphones that I could sell for $60 or so if I felt I didn't like them upon receipt...
However, I'm waiting for "shipped" status to order my exo3x from Lajo (or else waiting to catch when Lajo offers the free zipcase with 4G skin purchase).

I waited until my status changed to shipped before I ordered the iSkin. The rest of the accessories I bought at the Apple store at the mall I go to after I recieved the iPod last Friday.

I just got my Shure E3c's in the mail yday... you can find they on EBay for 119 right now. Worth it if you love great audio )

A remote is really the main thing, but an iSkin or iTalk would be nice.

I got the iskin and an audia-x fm transmitter (which was only $22 and sounds great). I'm also thinking about getting the griffin podpod and powerpod.

i got my iskin arctic and my ipod hasnt come yet. STV 9/15. maybe i shouldnt have bought the iskin.........
very lame how everyday my friends are like "get your FREE ipod yet?" in a sarcastic tone. damn you gratis. hurry up so i can prove them wrong, and use my iskin!
