5 days, still not approved

well last Wednesday night i submitted to be approved... and still nothing, thats 5 whole business days. is anyone else noticing the huge delay, or is something up with my account?

Delays have been reported in approval process in ffs as well. People are waiting since last tuesday to get approved for flatscreen.

It's my 6th business day of waiting for approval, I think they're just majorly backed up. I'm willing to wait!! (Although I would love to have it in time for my b-day in November....)

According to the head guy at Gratis... they are very close to getting the system running so good that you'll get your Ipod within a week of completing your referrals.

Could someone please tell me why it takes a week for computers to sift throught our orders to not make sure that we have cheated. And why it the computers only scan through them on buisness days. Just something I thought about at work.

With all the attention being paid to the slow shipping times, I think that Gratis is probably concentrating on getting orders that are processing and that have been sent to vendor shipped. It makes sense to me for them to want to clear up some of the congestion at the vendor before sending even more orders in. Of course this is all just speculation so who knows.

I have read through the FAQ a few times. Remember that they are insuring that you and your five referrals followed all the rules.
One of those rules is that they MUST complete the offers as stated. Some of those offers (like Blockbuster) give you credit before credit is due. They need to make sure that you and your five referrals didnt sign up for an offer and cancel it before the trial was up.
The point is If your free trial (or any of your referral's free trials) is/are not completed, you may not be eligible yet.

If those of you who are waiting know what your friends chose for their offers you might post it here.
Just to prove or dis-prove the theory that you might be waiting on the trial periods to end, not for someone to check your information/referrals.
A friend of mine just signed up for a credit card offer today, so I won't see that referral for around a week or two. But it's my last one. ;-)

OMG, my account is on hold for a referral my father completed!! He lives in another state, for crying out loud, used his own credit card, did EVERYTHING by the book. I'm at the point of thinking that buying an ipod and being out $300 is better than this aggravation! I could totally understand if it was some random referral that was trying to scam Gratis, but it's my DAD!!!! cry

Is that not allowed though?? It doesn't say anywhere in the TOS that family members can't participate, just "same household".....interested to see if anyone had a similar issue. I emailed them about it but i'm sure it'll take forever to hear back.

No, what I mean is that when they checked the account, they saw that you had identical last names, and put it on hold to remind themselves to check back later. They probably have a list of things that result in automatic holds.
Since they have hundreds of accounts to check each day, they probably do a first-pass flagging and then go back and dig deeper. But if "same last name" is one of those automatic flags, then that's why.

Just heard back from customer service (very quick!) - they wanted to know exactly who my dad was and why our accounts were similar (??). Anyways, I told them that he is my father and that besides our last names, the accounts shouldn't be that similar.....anyways i'm crossing my fingers that it works out.
