My buddy got his Wega shipped the next day. It seems (at least at one point) that they were shipping rather quickly.

ordered the 24" TV/DVD/VCR combo...i haven't heard anyone else claim they've shipped today. kinda wierd

tracking number seems kind of screwy for hers though. Links to the FedEx page, but doesn't really look like a FedEx number and is in the form of "3228xxxx6108xxxx 00xx 3x" - any thoughts?

yeah, same format for me too...i tried it on UPS and USPS and niether worked...not sure what the deal is

That tracking number looks more like an Invoice #. Do the Toshibas come from Amazon still?
Any Sony updates?

Yeah, I sort of wondered about it being an invoice number myself... I'm wasn't sure where the Toshibas come from, but did a search to see some other successful pictures. Looks like they are sent from EGL - Eagle Global Logistics (www.eaglegl.com). They have a tracking function but I couldn't seem to get it to work with my numbers. I also tried searching via "reference" with various things but didn't come up with anything... The one packing list I found that was semi-legible wasn't clear enough to see any reference info or the format of the tracking numbers... They are ordered from Amazon it seems.

Well Amazon's order numbers are 17 digits, in the form of "1x3-5xxx70x-3xxx2xx" whereas the tracking number provided is 16 digits, then 4 digits, then 2 digits. Hmm...

STV 9/27 - as of yesterday at 6 pm I have an invoice on techonweb. I got the Samsung 710N-2 ! Not shipped yet.

Figured the Toshiba tracking numbers out.
Take the first set of numbers (I think its 16 digits). Go to UPS' website and track "1Z" + your 16 digit number. Bingo. My sister's is scheduled to be delivered Oct 4th!

Click on your order number and on the details page it should show you your tracking information.
