Same thing happened to me. Not sure what is going on with eFax, but my friend as well as me never got credit for it? What could the problem be?

I just signed up for eFax (looks cool actually! I'm looking for a job and this will be helpful to me )) and noticed that the "cookie problem" I saw mentioned here in another thread came into play. You might try temporarily allowing all cookies when you're completing an offer to see if that is what's blocking your credit- I did that and got instant credit for eFax.

Just signed up for efax. Got instant credit.
It might be your firewall or pop up blocker.

A pop blocker or cookie problem - understandable. Firewall?? How can that affect it..

You can configure firewall to block cookies on a site by site basis. Lot of workplaces do this.

So if credit was blocked by no cookies or a firewall, is there anything you can do to get credit for it without signing up for another offer?

I didn't get credit for my efax signup either. And it seems somehow it was changed from the free 30 day trial that I was signing up for to the plus account. For those that did not get credit, check your account and look in the billing section under summary and see if they charged you for signup and activation (around $25).

I know I didn't sign up for the plus account because it said free trial on the page I was signing up on. It also said activation waived.

Harry, if you see this can you check out the efax program to make sure it's working right. I have seen quite a few people say they didn't get credit for it and if they all got charged too then maybe they have some misc redirect thing that gets you to the plus account sign up. Would really suck to not only get charged by them when I signed up through the 30 day trial page but to also not get credit at gratis.

NOTEli I used IE had my cookies on and turned my "security" and "Privacy" all the way down so nothing was blocked.

i also didnt get credit for my efax sign up. Now we have to wait 15 freaking days to email to get credit, and i bet when we do email them, we're not going to get credited still. uhg.

adam, that's the exact same email I got....notice the "efax plus" part!!! Where the hell did that come from lol.

Can you do me a favor and see if your account shows a charge too please. Just log in and click the "billing" link under MY ACCOUNT, then click on the summary tab in the middle.

This is what I have

9/28/04 Credit Card Payment 9/28/04 9/28/04 - $-25.90 (USD)
9/28/04 Monthly Fee 9/28/04 10/27/04 $12.95 (USD)
9/28/04 Service Activation Fee 9/28/04 10/27/04 $12.95 (USD)

This is really annoying and I am hoping I am not the only one that had this happen to. evil

[quotedde6e5c3e2]my email says welcome to efax plus too, but i didnt get charged. weird.[/quotedde6e5c3e2]well I actually haven't been physically charged yet but it says that. Not sure if it just hasn't shown up on my card yet or that they have not yet ran it yet. I just don't like the fact that they give me a total and say they are going to charge me.
