I donated $10 for my handbags link as soon as I could, and I got an automated email saying that my link would be posted at 6PM PST today (9/28 ) for 24 hours. It was never posted. Its been two hours. I want my link to be posted for the full 24 hours

Sure. It's been almost 8 hours and I already have 1 complete. 1 complete alone is worth the $10 considering that it's going towards a $300 handbag. Also, these 8 hours have been at night, so I expect to get more traffic today (I did get 1 complete, but 0 "Joined, but offer not completed").

I donated, I've gotten 2 yellows (1 appears to be fake, it's like email==ad@lol.comad@lol.com=ad@lol.comad@lol.com/email) and 0 greens. However, my link still has tonight to be up.

i am a similar situation, 6pm last night was when it was supposed to go up, not a single yellow. hopefully i'm just delayed a bit and not screwed?

I don't think anyone could promise signups... mostly because now all the offers require CC so it's not so easy to get people to complete an offer nowadays (

Is it that hard to see that really doesn't work? If you donate, do it to support the site and not to get referrals cause you'll be disappointed in the end. Get your referrals yourself, that's ALWAYS the way to go ;)

If I were you guys who donated and didn't get your link up, I would demand refunds, and if he doesn't refund your money... file a complaint with Paypal. He promised a service for your money and he did not complete it. Simple as that. The fact of the matter is... probably 90% of the people who donate do it for the referrals and the rest out of "good faith". This is a website about how to get a free ipod, it's not an AIDS or Cancer charity. Let's not get carried away about "donating for good faith" lol.
Ask for a refund. In fact, he had a "money back guarantee" statement on the donation page that he deleted a little while back.
The bottom line is, you should have all figured out that you wouldn't get any referrals or maybe 1 if you're lucky. The free.com websites have been up for months now, everyone knows about them. Donating for referrals was a good idea when these sites STARTED but now you are simply handing this highschool kid 10 bucks. Even for new offers like handbags, barely anyone will sign up since these sites are so well-known now.
