[quotea5907191b9="dameetch"]What is a mezzanine board?[/quotea5907191b9]its the wireless extension board on the mac mini. the mac mini on itself does not have the wireless chipset to do 802.11g or Bluetooth. Thats what the mezzanine board does, it has the chipsets to process the wireless info and feeds it to the motherboard, which then is able to be used in the operating system.

Has anyone actually successfully had a Wireless/Bluetooth upgrade done? Do the Apple stores have them in stock?

I was told by somebody who works at Apple that 'as part of the standard level of service, all upgrades will be done for free in Apple stores. Bring your own RAM etc.'
