aight i should hopefully be getting my mini mac real soon, my order is processing
and i was just curious what would i have to do if i wanted to get the dvd-r instead of just cd-r/dvd-rom.
i know the easiest thing to do would be return it at the apple store and pay for an upgraded version with all the stuff i want, but some people said you cant do that, unless u have a receipt. so if thats out of the question
IS IT POSSIBLE to maybe take my mini mac there and them be able to upgrade it to dvd-r, and add whatever else i want to put in it, of course paying for all the upgrades?
and i REALLLY dont want to try and upgrade anything myself, i dont want to risk fucking it up to save a few bucks.

very easy.

it costs $149, so about $50 more than the Apple one, BUT, it supports up to 8x burning while the Apple one supports only up to 4x. in other words, you pay $49 more and get double the burn speed.
