A while a go, I made an account at freeipods.com. I don't remember if I entered my address, but probably not. I want to make a new account, and not sign under old one, but just start over. Is there any way to tell if I entered my address in the old account?

If you remember the address and password you signed up with before, just use that one. You won't have to worry about having two accounts or getting put on hold. If you don't remember the info you used, make a new account and send them a support ticket telling them the situation. Good luck.

i dunno... just continue with it

don't create another account, i'm sure that the address thing won't be much of a problem.

Once you're approved and are ready to place your order, you are asked to confirm your address, so I suppose you could change it then.

However, the only thing I'm not sure of is if changing your address like that will cause you to go back to Pending Approval. Part of the approval process is checking your shipping address against those of your referrals and their referrals to audit against self-referrals and circular referrals. Since you will have passed this check before you change your address, I would suspect that they would have to re-verify everything again. Just a guess though...

To be on the safe side, I would login with your old account and submit a ticket to customer service, explaining that you were a bit skeptical when you first signed up and just wanted to check things out, so you used a fake address. Now that you know the offer is legit, you want to actively seek referrals and would like to let them know so you can edit your address. It might work out better...

maybe I should just put in a customer service ticket asking if my address is <my address here>.

Redundancy

I'm pretty sure that won't cause a problem. DON'T create another account or THEN you're screwed. Just wait till the end. It doesn't matter anyway because when you enter your address in the end you're already approved.

I think dmorris made a great suggestion. DEFINITELY continue with this account, and I'm sure changing or updating your address won't be a problem. As stated, you're asked to confirm it at the very end anyway.

dmorris... so much knowledge for someone with such a small post count! I'm sure you'll be an asset to the board. )

Thanks, Liz... I'm just trying to think it through and play a bit of Devil's Advocate. It's a basic character flaw of mine, I tend to analyze everything to death. )

I'm new to posting here, but I've been lurking for awhile and keeping up with the Gratis offers for some time now, so I try to apply that along wth a good helping of common sense when a question like this comes up. Basically a "what would Gratis do in this situation" kinda thing...
