don't freak out at me if this is off-topic, I just hoped this would be helpful to those of us about to receive our free iPods. Just sign up at iTunes and link to your PayPal account(no $$ changes hands unless you buy something), and they give you 5 free songs. Just a promotion, no weird strings.
