Has anybody tried using google adwords to get refferals?
How much did you spend?
Can you cancel the ad at any time?

Thanks.

Never tried it.

Not so sure that's ok by Google's rules though.

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere people using google adwords. The only downside is, you'll have to pay google for each click on your link and there is no way to control it. So if 300 people clicked your link but none completed an offer, you'll have to shell out quite a bit from your pocket.

My 2 cents

Actually you pay in advance.

So no suprises. They aren't letting you put up ads online and pay later.

That's not exactly right. You pay $5.00 in advance to "activate your account", but then you set the limit per day and when you reach that limit you are charged.

Last I checked they still have your credit card.

And you limit.

So you have 100% control.

If they let you pay after... you know how many would skip out on the bill?

That's why they take your credit card #.

A company can't legally charge a credit card until it ships the product in most states. But any place you order online, you submit your CC number. That way second product is ready to ship they charge. When transaction is approved, it's released to shipper.

As a sidenote, the second the shipping company picks it up, it's legally yours. Hence the reason if you purchase something expensive, see if the company you buy from insures, it, or if insurance is available. They aren't responsible once it ships. It's your property at that point.
