It seems our wait might truly be over. I checked both Circuit City and Best Buy and both have the 1 GB shuffle in stock. I realize that this doesn't mean that Gratis' vendor has them in stock, but it is clear that Apple is moving large numbers of them. I'm in Northern Indiana so E-Fulfillment would be great for shipping time. I'll let you know anything new.

I saw some 512's at Target this weekend. No 1GBs but this was the first sighting I'd seen of ANY shuffle since its release
i saw 512's at Target last week here in central PA...but they didn't have any 1gb's
