I've already received credit for the aol offer. However, afterwards i got a couple emails from AOL saying, "blah blah this is your last chance to get aol free for 2 months....blah blah....click here to finish". So i'm not sure if i need to cancel the service or not. ?

thanks

AOL has some way of making you pay even when they don't have vital information. cancel. i've heard they're even worse that ancestry though over the phone. maybe i'm wrong.

You really have to be a hard ass about these phone people. I know the job probably sucks, but it is not my fault they got sucked into the relatively higher pay. If you want to keep the bargains.com deal call up to cancel anyways. They offer the service for a full year at only 20 bucks and you don't have to cancel after that.

does anyone know for sure?

i cancelled my own offer but my friends (that i referred) did the aol offer too and they don't think you need to cancel.

when i talked to the lady after i cancelled, she said if you ignore those emails and continue with the signup, you wouldn't get charged.

can anyone enlighten me?
