So yeah, he says he found my information, I said "great" and my message lagged so it came up looking like I said great to the "offer" he gave me that I didnt see until after I sent my "great" message

I'll bet it was. I wonder if they get some kind of credit or whatever whenever they get someone to stay on. Incentives.

With that said, I must admit that I've held onto both Great Fun and Buyer's Advantage after trying to cancel. Great Fun said they'd send me the list of restaurants where I could use the card (since that wasn't included in the welcome package) and extended the free trial til the end of March. Buyer's Advantage said they'd send me a $70 "Bill-Buster" that can be used towards any utility, credit card or grocery bill. They said if I still wanted to cancel after using that, I could. I figured, what the heck?

Either I'm savvy, or a complete schmuck...

I would've just typed something like "nononononononononononononono" or "cancelcancelcancelcancelcancelcancelcancelcancel" all over the f-ing screen until he just gave up and cancelled my account. I have heard from others that they try to push you to stay, so I'm prepared.
